Bratcher will bring his boundless blues to the legendary Wolfman Jack Stage prior to performances by The Doobie Brothers and Justin Moore on Monday, Aug. 7—the same date as the international release of his ninth album, "This is Blues Country,” a collection of classic country songs played in blues-rock style.

Waving flags, revving engines and Freebird-shredding passion will bring you a feeling of pure freedom during a performance from America’s ultimate biker band on Tuesday, Aug. 8. A long-running and favorite tradition continues when the self-proclaimed Sturgis Buffalo Chip® house band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, returns to rock the Wolfman Jack Stage as part of the Moto Stampede event series. The godfathers of Southern rock will rain down their fan-pleasing sound after a Chip debut from a band that’s continued the genre’s traditions for the next generation, Blackberry Smoke.

This Asheville, NC two-piece consisting of brothers Rev Wray and Lo Wray seamlessly blends together the sounds of Southern rock, Top 40 country and pop. See them keep the party going on the Kinison Stage at midnight on Tuesday, Aug. 8, then see them take to the legendary Wolfman Jack Main Stage prior to blink-182 and George Thorogood and the Destroyers on Thursday, Aug. 10.

 

Doug Danger’s Rattlesnake Jump – Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017
The roar of motorcycles in the Buffalo Chip amphitheater is about to be drowned out by the sound of your own heart beating wildly out of your chest and the rattle of some extremely deadly rattlesnakes. If all goes to plan on Thursday, Aug. 10, you’ll see celebrated stuntman Doug Danger attempt to complete one of Evel Knievel’s earliest failed jumps. This motorcycle daredevil plans to fly 120 feet through the air on a 1972 Harley-Davidson XR750 over the top of a holding tank containing up to 2,000 vicious, venomous vipers. But if the plan fails, this could be deadly.

The Hawkeyes
Experience a unique blend of Heartland rock, Rustbelt grit and Americana soul that exhibits as much honesty as it does attitude when The Hawkeyes make their Sturgis Buffalo Chip debut. Charlie Brechtel Band
If you’ve taken a Sturgis Rally vacation at the Buffalo Chip anytime within the last decade, there’s a good chance you’ve heard or at least bumped into Charlie Brechtel. “Good Time Charlie,” as fans know him, has become an important part of the Chip’s showcase experience, and his daily performances shouldn’t be missed! Charlie Brechtel’s music is in a bona fide tribute to the biker lifestyle. You’ll hear stories of pioneering bikers, vintage motorcycles and biker destinations like the Sturgis Rally told through his scorching blues originals; you might even hear the song he wrote specifically about the Chip! Big Skillet

DJ Hulio
Bumpin’ beats, original remixes and masterful mashups of your favorite songs will have you dancing your asses off until the wee hours of the morning thanks to DJ Hulio. This mix masters will be keeping your party going nightly by performing high-octane live sets throughout the festival at Club Chip between and after shows on the main stage.

Buffalo Dreamers
When you’re at the Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling®, it’s not unusual to feel a rumble below your feet and have flashes of bold, beautiful color catch your eye. But during performances from the Buffalo Dreamers, the pounding drumbeat and passionate pageantry you’ll experience will be so mesmerizing, it might make you forget about motorcycles for a few minutes! This troupe, led by Chief Sitting Bull’s sixth generation grandson Jumping Buffalo, will captivating you with traditional Native American dances nightly on both the Wolfman Jack and Kinison Stages.
