Ben Suchy

Ben Suchy performs solo or with a band.  He is not only an accomplished songwriter, but has built and invented some of his instruments including a 9 string lap-slide banjitar named "trouble". His solo music is folk & blues along the lines of Mason Jennings, Xavier Rudd, and John Prine.  His band adds danceable grooves and rhythms comparable to G Love, Ben Harper, and Jack Johnson.

Suchy's songs have been applauded by the Minnesota Folk Festival and Walnut Valley Folk Festival. He has performed at the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Grassroots Festivals in NY and NC, Sioux River Folk Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and the National Music Museum.  Suchy has worked with such elites as: Ben Taylor Band, David Lindley and Wally Ingram, Camper Van Beethoven, Dave Moore, Donna the Buffalo, and Tom Corbett.
