CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVISITED

Concert Passes Here

Sturgis Rally music fans will be treated to an evening of some of the most pivotal hits in rock history when Creedence Clearwater Revisited takes the stage at the Legendary Buffalo Chip, Sunday, Aug. 2.

Stu Cook and Doug "Cosmo" Clifford may not have intended it, but Creedence Clearwater Revisited has taken on a life of its own. Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Cook and Clifford (bass and drums respectively) from the legendary group Creedence Clearwater Revival launched the Creedence Clearwater Revisited in 1995 to perform live Creedence Clearwater Revival hits. The plan was to play a few private parties. (Of course, the Legendary Buffalo Chip is The Best Party Anywhere!) Plans change.
Creedence Clearwater Revisited now performs up to 100 shows annually and has released “Recollection,” which has gone gold and is making its way to platinum.

"We never really had any intention of playing for the public," said Cook. "But a friend wanted to promote a couple of concerts. We got talked into it, but didn't know how it would go over."

This year’s Sturgis Rally crowd will party to the same incredible list of hits that have excited audiences in Asia, Europe, New Zealand and the Americas. The songs continue to be staples in jukeboxes, radio and the movies.

As Sturgis Bike Week fans who have experienced a Creedence Clearwater Revisited concert can attest, Stu and Cosmo found the right players.
Lead singer/rhythm guitar player John Tristao’s powerful vocals are a key element to Creedence Clearwater Revisited’s success. Tal Morris’
lead guitar work captures the essence of the band while Steve Gunner rounds out the group with multiple instruments.

Stu and Cosmo and the band add a chapter to the legacy with an energy that defines American spirit, which, by the way, defines the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally crowd.
