Iron Cowgirl Missy

In 2009, a 15,000 mile, 10 week, motorcycle journey led Iron Cowgirl to the Legendary Buffalo Chip in Sturgis, S.D. After saying goodbye and leaving everyone she loved, she did not look back. This amazing journey, she says, saved her from a path of destruction and an Iron Cowgirl she had become.

Riding her horse with two wheels, a sleeping bag and a guitar strapped to the side of her bike, she rode the coast of Michigan, down to Florida, and then headed west “Riding away from the one that,” she “loved, trying to find some help from above.“ She camped along the way and played her guitar at night, finally ending up at the Buffalo Chip during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally where she made friends and memories that she “wouldn't trade.” They've all been defined by the music she’s made, songs like: Heart of Steel, What You Deserve, and Iron Cowgirl.

Iron Cowgirl has played taverns, benefits, fund raisers, rodeos, open mic nights, campgrounds, Farm Fest 09, and other venues as a solo artist. Those who believe, have given her the courage to pursue her dreams, hence, her next CD,  "Chasing My Dreams".

Iron Cowgirl is now a full band touring from Jackson, MI. They play originals with a sweet southern rock style and covers that are ideal for biker events. Iron Cowgirl is, no doubt about it, a biker. She plays and lives from the heart, a “Heart of Steel.”

Her dedicated band members compliment the raw emotional mix based on real life experiences.  Iron Cowgirl is "Making Music to Life." The entire band not only plays Iron Cowgirl music, they feel it, some have lived it, and they all believe in it.

Welcome back to the Buffalo Chip, Missy.  We look forward to seeing you.
