Rev Theory

 Rev Theory

  August 3rd

The Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground is going to “rev up” the 2008 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally still more. Playing on August 3 alongside rockers, Puddle of Mudd and rock’s greatest shocker, Alice Cooper, will be one of the hardest working acts out there today, Interscope Record’s Rev Theory.

Rev Theory is made up of five tireless musicians hailing from Massachusetts who have been promoting their honest, raw brand of hard rock cross-country opening for acts that have also rocked out at the Sturgis Rally’s Legendary Buffalo Chip like Buckcherry, Papa Roach and Saliva. Beyond pouring blood, sweat and tears into their music, these guys have been building a fan base from the ground up; delivering electrifying shows and even taking the time to wait outside venuesto greet their fans.

Their new album “Light It Up” will hit the store shelveson June 10 and has already been described as a “…brave, loud, crunchy, hook-sick, bombastic, Appetite-inspired” work. The title track has already been named the official theme song for Wrestlemania 24 and will also be featured on the video game Nascar 2009 due out in June. “Hell Yeah”, the fist-pumping anthem off the same album, is currently holding strong on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.

They’re not about the glitz and glamour of stardom.   It’s not about their image or the press coverage. Rev Theory is simply a group that wants to get out there and perform the hell out of their music. Just the way Sturgis Rally fans want their Rock ‘N’ Roll…hard, fast and without apology.
