Midstokke

     For a consecutive third year in a row, hard-hitting Seattle based band Midstokke will be returning to rock the legendary Buffalo Chip at the 2009 Sturgis Rally in August. Veterans of the Chip, Midstokke is quickly becoming a household name among biker folk who expect nothing but a good time when these boys hit the stage. "These guys know how to lay it down, and lay it down good with 'rock-out-loud' lyrics and music that can only be matched by the Black Crowes or Aerosmith," Tony Sison, editor of All Access Magazine said. Since winning a Mackie sponsored Harley-Davidson "battle of the bands" in 2007, Midstokke has been winning over thousands of bikers for the last two summers performing their brand of high energy rock n' roll at the best party in the world, the Buffalo Chip.

Midstokke is currently putting the finishing touches on their second full-length CD due out later this year. The boys of Midstokke have high expectations for this collection of songs and are looking to hit the road for an extended period of time in support of their as yet untitled album. An all original and completely independent release, this record promises to represent all Midstokke and their fans stand for; a balls out rockin' good time.

Midstokke is: singer/harmoica Steven Douglas, bass: Fraser, guitars: Kenny Van Dyke and Ted Norris and drums: Cory Olsen. Midstokke has been playing the greater northwest music scene for over 4 years together with their original lineup. Three of the five, Kenny, Fraser and Ted, have all been playing together since their school days in their early teens. And they have come a long way. Since then the band has played almost every venue fit for live music including headlining the Showbox in downtown Seattle, biker rallys all over the state, burning up small hole-in-the wall pubs in and around the greater northwest and kicking ass for college kids in college towns.

Midstokke looks to make 2009 their year. With a new release on the horizon, a dedicated fan base, talent and a deep commitment to their fans and each other, Midstokke is prepared to make its impact in the world of rock and take it by storm.
