Alice Cooper

There’s nothing quite like a good hanging, a guillotine, and a luscious fem fatale to make every Sturgis Rally music fan appreciate truly classic rock n’ roll. Alice Cooper will provide all that and more when he brings his outrageous show to the Legendary Buffalo Chip on Saturday, Aug. 6 during the annual motorcycle rally.

Alice Cooper has been breaking down barriers and creating new forms of rock since the band’s inception. They got their first break playing at the Whiskey-a-GoGo in Los Angeles in 1969. Frank Zappa discovered them there and signed them to his record label.

After two albums, they relocated to Detroit and signed with Warner Brothers, where they hooked up with the famous music producer Rober Ezrin. The association resulted in “Love It to Death,” “School’s Out,” “Billion Dollar Babies,” and “Muscle of Love.” Later, Cooper as a solo artist created the iconic albums, “Welcome to My Nightmare,” “Alice Cooper Goes to Hell,” “Lace and Whiskey,” “From The Inside,” and many more.

As the inventor of theatrical rock, Alice Cooper produced a string of hits including: “I’m Eighteen,” “Under My Wheels,” “School’s Out,” “Elected,” “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” “Billion Dollar Babies,” “Only Women Bleed,” “Welcome to My Nightmare,” and “Department of Youth.”
