Gregg Allman is a founding member of the iconic Allman Brothers Band and in his own amazing solo career, he has long been a gifted blues interpreter, with his distinctive, soulful voice which has become one of vocal talents in American music history. He will bring those talents to the Legendary Buffalo Chip on Wed. Aug. 10, during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Low Country Blues is Allman’s seventh solo effort, but his first in more than 13 years. The new album was produced by Grammy- and Oscar-winning T Bone Burnett, and finds Allman putting his personal stamp on songs by some of the blues’ greates giants including Muddy Waters and BB King to Magic Sam and Buddy Guy. Sturgis Rally music fans are going to soak in it like the August sun!
The album recalls the Georgia coastal region that Allman calls home. ,Low Country Blues is a new high water mark Allman’s an already remarkable catalog. The new album is a passionate display of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer’s unerring confidence as a true survivor.

Wednesday of the Sturgis Rally promises to be a rare treat for fans and students of Southern Rock with Gregg Allman joining fellow Hall of Famers Lynyrd Skynyrd for a night of new and historical Southern Blues Rock.
