Puddle of Mudd

The Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground’s reputation has stamped its mark on the American culture as the Best Party Anywhere!® Beautiful women, beautiful bikes, buckets of beer, and generations of rock’n’roll icons have brought the biker culture from every corner of the globe to the Chip during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
This year is no different.  Puddle of Mudd  will help us celebrate the 30th annual party at the Chip during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is no different as they take the stage on Friday, Aug. 12 with Saving Abel.

Puddle of Mudd released its major-label debut album Come Clean in August 2001. The lead single from the album, "Control" was wildly successful and grabbed the attention of rock music audiences around the world. The album’s second single, "Blurry" is one of Puddle of Mudd's most successful singles, reaching number five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Drift & Die" was also released as a single and was resonated with rock audiences while spending six weeks at number one on the Mainstream Rock Chart. "She Hates Me" was released in 2002 and became a massive hit reaching the number one spot on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, as well as number thirteen on the Billboard Hot 100.

Life on Display produced three singles "Away From Me," "Heel Over Head," and "Spin You Around," and their third major label record, Famous contained the hits, "Famous" and "Merry Go Round" along with "Psycho" which garnered immense popularity, radio play and topping both the Mainstream Rock Tracks and Hot Modern Rock Tracks charts for nine weeks. "Livin' on Borrowed Time" and "We Don't Have To Look Back Now" were the final singles released, all gaining hit status. Volume 4: Songs in the Key of Love & Hate released in 2009 continues brisk sales with its single “Spaceship.”

Puddle of Mudd’s fame and fortune comes from the iconic ballads and the lyrics Scantlin harvests his own life experiences. His inspiration comes from reality.

There’s no doubt the Buffalo Chip will create some very “real” new experiences sure to inspire them more.
