Monday, July 30-Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018 – Bikini Beach Pre-Party with TRICK

If you’ve heard it’s fashionable to arrive late to a party, what you’ve heard is DEAD WRONG. The Buffalo Chip Bikini Beach Pre-Party lets you and your friends blow through the gates of the Buffalo Chip four whole days before the festival’s official rally kickoff date to nab your favorite camp spot, watch the festival spring to life and rock out to nightly concerts from TRICK on the Bikini Beach Stage!

Pop Evil –Friday, Aug. 3, 2018

Brace yourselves for a hard-hitting concert that’ll ignite like gasoline-soaked gunpowder, setting the tone for an explosive nine-day music and motorcycling experience at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. Fan favorites Pop Evil will wake the lions of the Best Party Anywhere on Friday, Aug. 3, and the roar will be deafening.

The Flaunt Girls –Friday, Aug. 3, 2018

You might have seen The Flaunt Girls astonish audiences at other motorcycle rallies, NFL Stadiums, Nascar Speedways and festivals around the world, but you’ve never seen these provocative performers pull out the stops like they do at The Best Party Anywhere. Part dance, part cirque, and 100% tease–The Flaunt Girls opening performance prior to Pop Evil will be ones you’ll never forget!

Charlie Brechtel Band  –Friday, Aug. 3, 2018

“Good Time Charlie,” as fans know him, has become an important part of the Chip’s showcase experience, and his daily performances throughout the festival shouldn’t be missed! Charlie Brechtel’s music is in a bona fide tribute to the biker lifestyle. You’ll hear stories of pioneering bikers, vintage motorcycles and biker destinations like the Sturgis Rally told through his scorching blues originals; you might even hear the song he wrote specifically about the Chip! Foreigner  Reunited with All the Original Members – Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018

Go dizzy and develop Double Vision singing your lungs out to the massive catalog of catchy hits that’s made Foreigner one of the greatest selling bands of all time. The classic rock megastars Foreigner will reunite all of their original members with those who rock today to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their 1978 album “Double Vision,” on the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s Wolfman Jack Stage on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018. It will be the only show like it in the world. And when they’re done you’ll swear it Feels Like the First Time you’ve been to a concert so good.

Red Sun Rising –Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018

The stirring sounds of Red Sun Rising will have you swearing you’ve just seen the light when their classic grunge-influenced alternative rock floods the Buffalo Chip Amphitheater with illuminating melodies and riffs. Rock and roll’s rapidly ascending sons will beam from the Chip’s Wolfman Jack Stage on Saturday, Aug. 4, charging you up for the Foreigner concert to follow it.

Well Hung Heart  –Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018

Well Hung Heart is a quartet from Orange County, CA who plays brash, ballsy, boisterous, no-bullsh*t rock and roll, or, in other words, rock and roll as it’s meant to be. Fronted by the sassy and sultry Greta Valenti and driven by guitarist Robin Davey’s wall-sized bluesy rock riffage, the band has become a Sturgis Buffalo Chip favorite. HUNKS The Show  –Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018

Ladies– prepare for an entertainment experience unlike any that’s ever been at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip® before. Head straight for the Kinison Playground Stage prior to the headlining performance from Foreigner and strap yourselves in for the ride of your life. The no. 1 all-male revue will be taking to the stage, and you’re going to want to be so close you can feel the sweat spray off their chiseled bods.

And that’s exactly what will happen when Theory of a Deadman takes the stage after the Buffalo Chip TT American Flat Track Grand National Championship Races as part of the Chip’s annual Moto Stampede® event series.

Nine days of concerts, races, bike shows, wild parties and all the fun you can handle equals sounds like nothing short of paradise. And when Phil Vassar makes his performance debut from the Chip’s Wolfman Jack Stage prior to Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Farewell concert, you’ll know you’re right where you need to be– enjoying Just Another Day in Paradise.

The Hawkeyes  –Monday, Aug. 6, 2018

Experience a unique blend of Heartland rock, Rustbelt grit and Americana soul that exhibits as much honesty as it does attitude when The Hawkeyes make their debut on the Buffalo Chip’s Main Stage prior to Phil Vassar and Lynyrd Skynyrd. BC & The Big Rig  –Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018

Your faith in the hard-working American spirit will be renewed when you hear BC & The Big Rig blend country and rock elements with touches of folk storytelling during the Buffalo Chip’s music festival. With influences ranging from Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash to Black Crowes and Roger Clyne, this Tulsa-based group fits right in at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. HUNKS The Show  –Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018

Ladies– If men in uniforms, cowboys, firemen, and guys who can move get your temperature rising, then head straight for the Kinison Playground Stage prior to the Aaron Lewis for an encore performance by The HUNKS. Feast your eyes on some of the sexiest men alive as they sing, dance, and strip in choreographed routines to thumping beats and dazzling light shows.

Eric Church –Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018

Indulge in sweet country-rock party anthems, the roar of American V-Twins, and all your best friends cheering together during a performance from Eric Church. The Nashville-based country-rock singer-songwriter extraordinaire will belt his hits from the Wolfman Jack Stage on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, and all you need to do is be there with a drink in your hand.

Reverend Horton Heat –Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018

The electric feeling that hangs in the air at the Chip will mix with a faint odor of gasoline on Aug. 8 when psychobilly pioneers Reverend Horton Heat takes the Wolfman Jack Stage in between bar-banging Super Hooligan flat track racing and a headlining performance from Eric Church. The combination will be so potent you may want to have a fire extinguisher handy in case the entire mixture combusts.

Kid Rock –Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018

Crank your party up to eleven and lose your mind to the tight rhymes, magnetic party anthems, and down-home Americana crossover stylings of Detroit’s own American Bad Ass, Robert Ritchie, better known to the world as Kid Rock. The Bullgod is making his triumphant return to The Best Party Anywhere®, and it’s the party you need to be looking forward to All Summer Long.

Lita Ford –Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018

Immerse yourself in glam metal personified as Lita Ford takes you back in time to an era filled with lightning-fast licks and enough hair spray to make Bigfoot look pretty. This guitar goddess will remind you just how much you love the ‘80s when she lights up the Buffalo Chip’s motorcycle and music festival with searing solos and brilliant, emotional ballads prior to Kid Rock on Thursday, Aug. 9.

Scattered Hamlet  –Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018

Grab the bull by the horns, hold on for dear life, and get ready to ride that cow into the ground. These hillbilly boys are kicking off one of the biggest nights of the rally with a honky tonk metal mixture that’s equal parts Lynyrd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet with a dash of Motörhead and Down, all wrapped up in a fine shotgun shell casing. See them tear up the Kinison Stage midnight Wednesday, Aug. 8, then come back for round two on the Main Stage Thursday, Aug. 9.

John Kay & Steppenwolf –Friday, Aug. 10, 2018

Flashback to the dawn of motorcycle culture via the trippy, heavy metal thunder of the most iconic motorcycle rock band in history–John Kay & Steppenwolf. The legendary band will blast out their thunderous rock from the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s Wolfman Jack Stage on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018 and the roar will heard from miles around.

Yelawolf –Friday, Aug. 10, 2018

Get ready for a party that spans generations and genres of biker music like few have ever done before when new school meets old school on the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s stage. Heavy-hitting motorcycle musician Yelawolf will get the party revved up prior to a performance from the original biker band and music legends John Kay & Steppenwolf on Friday, Aug. 10. When Yelawolf’s blend of hip-hop, rock, country, blues and biker badassery hits your ears, you might not be sure how to describe it, but one thing you’ll know for sure is you won’t be able to stop listening until the show is over.

Ted Z and The Wranglers  –Friday, Aug. 10, 2018

Gritty grassroots rock will get the good times rollin’ when Ted Z and The Wranglers make their debut at the Best Party Anywhere. Lose yourself in Ted's catchy story-songs filled with tales of love, regret, getting older and stirring up trouble while The Wranglers tap into their Americana influences with quick picking and bluesy slide guitar. Catch Ted Z and the Wranglers at Midnight on the Kinison Stage on Thursday, Aug. 9 before their Main Stage performance Friday, Aug. 10.

Chevelle –Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018

Get ready to put the pedal to the alternative metal when melodic hard rock maestros Chevelle take the Wolfman Jack Stage and floor it into the red zone on the final night of the Buffalo Chip’s 2018 Motorcycle and Music Festival. The Chicago-based power trio will headline following a performance by progressive metal pioneers Queensrÿche, ending the 2018 Best Party Anywhere on an explosive high note.

Cody Cooke & The Bayou Outlaws

The recipe for Cody Cooke & The Bayou Outlaws’ outlaw country rock is simple, but very potent and effective. Take all three Hanks, mix ‘em up with a little Waylon and Merle, a double shot of David Allen Coe, pour it over a glass of raunchy rock and roll guitars and then toss in a shot of authentic Louisiana moonshine for good measure. What you’re left with is an intoxicating musical gumbo that’ll get any party’s wheels spinning. Catch them on the CrossRoads stage on Sunday, Aug. 5 at 4:30 p.m.

Stone Senate

Stone Senate is a five-piece contemporary southern rock band hailing from Nashville, TN. The band’s sound is infused with a multitude of genres ranging from country to funk, but beyond all their influences is a deep appreciation for classic southern rock bands like The Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Catch them on the CrossRoads Stage on Saturday, Aug. 4th at 4:30 pm and Monday, Aug, 6 at 4:30 p.m.

Dan Johnson

Dan Johnson is a singer-songwriter from Fort Worth, Texas whose songs stitch together influence from many great Texas-based songwriters, both past and present, with his own stylistic thumbprint. Dan’s moving lyrics, strong focus on composition and arrangement and rich use of harmony will please fans of legacy songwriters like Kris Kristofferson and Steve Earle to younger artists like Sturgill Simpson or Jason Eady. Don’t miss Dan’s performance on the CrossRoads Stage on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 4:30 pm.

Black Water Mountain

Black Water Mountain is a melting pot of American music genres, incorporating elements of classic seventies and eighties rock and roll and country with sprinklings of more 90’s and beyond flavored alternative rock, punk, pop, grunge and a dash of blues to tie it all together. The band has been compared to acts as diverse as The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd and David Bowie to Iggy Pop, AC/DC and T. Rex. You can decide for yourself when you see their show on the Chip’s free access CrossRoads stage on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 4:30 pm.

Crossroad Station

Crossroad Station is a five-piece country rock band from Southern Ohio with a knack for melody and memorable lyrical storytelling. The band logs 150+ shows a year and has shared the stage with acts like Colt Ford, Little Texas, Marty Stuart, Kentucky Headhunters and many others. Catch this fast-rising, killer country-rock band on the Buffalo Chip’s CrossRoads stage on Thursday, Aug. 9 at 4:30 pm.

Creed Fisher Band

Creed Fisher is an outlaw country artist from Austin, Texas whose music proudly carries on the tradition of the genre’s most celebrated artists. Echoes of Hank Williams Jr., Alan Jackson and Merle Haggard ring from Creed’s rebellious red dirt, blue-collar anthems that speak directly to the soul of the common workin’ man. Check out Creed’s performance on the CrossRoads stage on Friday, Aug. 10 at 4:30 pm.

The Plott Hounds

The Plott Hounds’ self-described brand of “Blue Collar Hippie Music” is a mixture of southern rock, funky blues and outlaw country. Fans of legacy acts such as Marshall Tucker Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the Allman Brothers as well as fans of newer artists like Eric Church, My Morning Jacket and the Black Crowes will enjoy The Plott Hounds feel-good jams. Catch The Plott Hounds on the CrossRoads stage on Saturday, Aug. 11 at 4:30 pm.

Big Skillet

Bring your appetite, because Big Skillet is cookin’ up a crock full of concerts at the Chip that you’ll never be able to get enough of. Party down with great classic rock, R&B, blues, funk and modern country with this Missouri-based quartet on the Showcase Stages throughout the festival. There will be plenty of chances to come back for seconds, so see the Buffalo Chip Daily Schedule to find out when and where you can get your fill.

The Living Deads

Having anything less than a great time is impossible when The Living Deads explode onto the stage at The Best Party Anywhere. The band’s sexy swagger grabs your attention, and its greasy, energetic and sensual rockabilly punk sound keeps it! Sultry upright bass player Symphony Tidwell, dramatic drummer Randy McKnight will knock you out on the Showcase Stages Aug. 3 and 4. OddFellas

Born out of the dust in Pampa, TX, OddFellas are a dirty blues rock band with a sound that infuses edgy, soulful roots melody with accompanying alternative rock accents. Since their formation in summer 2017, Oddfellas have played nonstop, they have been honing their sound, live performance, and have become a local favorite while branching out to new fans regionally. TRICK

With Steven Tyler-grade vocal prowess, Eddie Van Halen-level shredding and a stage presence usually reserved for a sold out arena show, TRICK’s performances on the Buffalo Chip’s Showcase Stages will have you doing a double take. Luckily, there will be plenty of chances to see this five-piece powerhouse rock band as they kick off the festivities during the four-day Bikini Beach Pre-Party, followed up with shows throughout the festival. DJ Hulio

Bumpin’ beats, original remixes and masterful mashups of your favorite songs will have you dancing your asses off until the wee hours of the morning thanks to DJ Hulio. This mix masters will be keeping your party going nightly by performing high-octane live sets throughout the festival at Club Chip between and after shows on the main stage.

Buffalo Dreamers

When you’re at the Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling®, it’s not unusual to feel a rumble below your feet and have flashes of bold, beautiful color catch your eye. But during performances from the Buffalo Dreamers, the pounding drumbeat and passionate pageantry you’ll experience will be so mesmerizing, it might make you forget about motorcycles for a few minutes! This troupe, led by Chief Sitting Bull’s sixth generation grandson Jumping Buffalo, will captivating you with traditional Native American dances nightly on both the Wolfman Jack and Kinison Stages. Pat Terranova

South Florida singer-songwriter Pat Terranova has swampy musical roots going back nearly two decades. As lead singer of a regional favorite southern rock band, Rambler, Pat toured relentlessly across the south throughout the 2000s and released two CDs with Rambler. After losing two dear friends and Rambler band mates, Pat recently began a solo career. His deeply honest lyrics are conveyed powerfully via his raspy voice, and you’ll feel them down to your core when you catch one of his performances at the CrossRoads Big Engine Bar.
