I went to the Chip when Ratt played - also got to meet Mark Slaughter that night.

I didn't get to party on because I had to work the next morning, but had a blast!!  Had backstage passes and got to meet the band on their bus - my bud's a guitar tech. :)

Anyway - hope to get back there soon!!!! 

I have been wanting to come to sturgis since i was a bab. Be 32 when this one comes around and still havent gone!!

I just hope oneday, ill be able to come 'cos its killing me not being able to go.

Oh by the way.. im a brit, i live here in jolly ole colorado, if i do go i wont be coming back here to colorado.. ill bloody well walk off into the sunset to start a new era for myself!

Anyway.. hopefully, oneday ill come here *when i actually have a softtail too* and live my dream!

Hello from Louisiana,, This is awesome. It will be my first time to see the Legendary Sturgis Rally. I can't wait for August to get here. Keep it safe, ride the wind. I hope to see all of ya'll there,,,,HD

Planning to leave South Africa on 29 the July over the big blue to LA then hire/buy a HD and travel to Sturgis by road visiting Las Vegas and hoping to see as much of USA as poss in 3 and half weeks. Cant wait! Believe that Buffalo chip is THE place to party and hope we can book in there. Any advice for first time visitors will be appreciated!

My name is Tim,and i'm a Chipaholic.I started coming to the Chip in 1983 at the advice of woody's brother(we worked together in huron).Chuck was wiser than  expected.Since that summer in 1983,I have joined my fellow bikers each august for the biggest,baddest party in the world.I remember the days when the entire chip was smaller than the modern parking lot,food vendors were carnival trailers,security was a snow fence and a guy on horseback.Each year I'm amazed at the upgrades that woody and the crew make.I have pictures from back then,and its like nite and day.I have met some of the most "unique" people in my life at the Chip,and seen things that would melt your eyeballs!!!  When people ask what my plans are for the rally the answer is one word- CHIP! Keep it coming,and so will I.See ya there,maybe at breakfast.

I'm 47 years old...been a backrest since I was 16....and this will be my first Sturgis! Whoop Whoop! I cannot wait! And...I'll be breaking it in with Aerosmith! Whoo hoo!! Grew up on them....their songs bring back many memories for me......Can't wait to see the big party at Buffalo Chip!!  :)

 Stayed at the Chip in 2004, cannot wait to return this year!

Arriving the 27th to settle in before the crowives. That way we can take in the sites, & get some quality riding time in before the offical party starts!

Want to hang at the Chip as much as possible and see it all...LOL   Have been attending Daytona Bike Week for over 20 years and there is *NOTHING* that compares to Sturgis and staying at the *CHIP*

Can't wait to ride my ole' Pan through those mountains once again...
