Best Buy, Buffalo Chip team to produce ultimate biker music collection

Retail music powerhouse Best Buy has teamed with the premiere biker venue and EMI Music Special Markets to produce "The Legendary BuffaloChip: The Sturgis Music Experience," a 16-song CD of some of the greatest biker music available.  The CD is available at Best Buy stores throughout the Midwest and online at the Buffalo Chip Online Store.

"These are some of the best songs in the history of rock 'n' roll and country and we want to make this collection available to our millions of loyal campers. Gretchen Wilson wasn't the only one who was Here for the Party. She'll undoubtedly be back," said Rod Woodruff, Buffalo Chip owner. "The CD also includes performances by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Billy Idol, Heart, Johnny Lang, The Beach Boys, The James Gang, Alice Cooper, Jethro Tull, The Stray Cats, Queensryche, Blue Oyster Cult, Poison, Grand Funk Railroad, Foreigner and George Thorogood & The Destroyers."

The Legendary Buffalo Chip: The Sturgis Music Experience represents something that has never been done before and is only possible because of the Chip's reputation in the music industry. The artists allowed some of their biggest hits to appear on the collection because they've had such memorable experiences at the Chip, according to Rose Sokol, EMI Music Special Markets.

"I thank Best Buy for encouraging us to pursue this project and make this collection available. There's probably no more convenient way for our campers to get this music than to pick up a copy of The Legendary Buffalo Chip: The Sturgis Music Experience at their local Best Buy store," Woodruff said.
