| I would like to know if anyone has seen a layout of the campground? Has anyone stayed at Fenske Park that would like to share how the bathrooms and showers were kept? Clean? Showers hot? |

07hdsoftailgirl, You can click on the "Home" section of the chip website and get access to the maps. I've stayed in Fenske Park 4 years and it gets a little better each year. Bathrooms? Probably some of the cleanest in the campground. Showers? We use the same showers as everyone else. Clean and hot depends alot on your timing. Hope this helps. Sojai. S,D,R&R!

If you go under the Home tab you will find Maps. You can click on the campground map to enlarge sections of it. Considering the crowds they do a pretty good job of keeping things clean. It might not be home, but it ain't bad. See ya all in August |

| Since you have been there several times what do you suggest for the first timers? I am trying to gain as much info as possible before making the big trip. Thanks for the info! |

Well, the VIP camping is right behind the main stage. The closet showers are behind the HD store, about couple hundred yards away. You can see this on the map. The south showers are probably a good 1/2 mile from VIP. There are showers from vendors that have set up right behind VIP, making it pretty handy at times. We've put sloar showers to good use also, if'n ya don't mind showin' yer tush a little around a bunch o' bikers. We'll bring ours again if we need them. We've also had a portable shower that works REALLY well. A lot of people get close to the south shower that are tenting. In the VIP, you'll have to do alittle walking or riding. But, you'll be at the best party anywhere with the best friends!!! |

The bathrooms for the Fenske Park VIPers are close to where we eat. It's just a short walk depending on were you are camping. No showers in the Fenske area but the ones behind the Harley shop are well kept and attended in case you forget shampoo etc. Every one had a first time and we all learn from year to year. There is a well stocked camp store and in town there is a grocery store and a Pamida. I suggest that Fenske Park is the place to be. It's worth the extra money for the security and the great "seats" for the concerts. And of course I can't forget the GREAT welcome that all Fenske Park campers recieve from those that arrived earlier. Always a Cold brew available!!! Spankette |
