Honestly I'm not feeling it this year folks. I think the add of another glam band takes away from the first (Posion)..Tobie, heard he's a good show so I'm open to it. But now an Idol?..Come on where's the shows everyone looks forward to? It's like the fire has been put out or something. Am I over reacting here? Any other thoughts?

I think you might wait a bit till they get some more posted. I am totally satisfied with Toby myself and anything else is gravy.

OOOOO baybeeee. I love Poison. It is rare to see an 80`s band that still tours with the original members. I`m really excited about Poison performing at the Chip. I`ll be there for that one ferrrr surreeee. Now if we can only get David Lee and Van Halen, ooooo yeah |

I love Posion too infact this will be the 3rd time I've seen them. Just to make everything clear....I'm not complaining about them. I was just saying that this year doesnt seem to have the punch as it did last year, that's all. But as suggested, I'm sitting here waiting for more to pop up. And like I said in another post, I don't come for the shows, I come for the people, enviroment and everything else in betwenn...so cheers!

Daughtry is one of us..........I actually was surpeised to see him do so well on a program not designed to discover a Rocker! Give his music a shot, I think its pretty good! I do agree on the poison/Ratt Glamrock comment. If they split the bill one night like they did back in the 80's might not be to bad.

I agree....The best concert I have seen in the past at the Chip was Kid Rock. How about contacting him again. He was great. Another high intensity group that would get the crowd going that was at Full Throttel a couple of years ago is Rob Zombie. Just a request. I am sure those two would sell alot of tickets.

I heard that Velvet Revolver is playing the Chip as well this year. Would love to see Styx & Def Leppard play with Foreigner as they are doing a summer tour together. I would also love to see Metallica

I've been going to the "Chip" since '98 and Posion has been the most friendly and fan conciderate band I have seen. They were to have play the "Chip" in 2001, but had to cancel due the death of the Bass player's son. They promised to return and Boy Howdy! did they ever! They came back in 2002 and they ROCKED! They brought the full show! First they ( the band and not just the roadies) arrived at the "Chip" at 9 in the morning. While the stage was been set up. They walked around the Ampitheather meeting folks, signing autograph and having a few cold ones with everyone. Then at 5PM when it came time for the sound checks instead of one of the roadie walking around going " TEST...TEST... the band performed half of the show they were going to do that night. Of course without the glam and pryo. Then they came back that night and rocked the "Chip" down! Of all the bands that I have seen in may 10 years of going to the "Chip" they are the band I respect the most! They come to play for the fans and not just for the money.

Velvet Revolver kicks ass! High voltage, good, guitar-driven hard rock & roll. They just did a short South American tour with Aerosmith & there was a live webstream of one of their shows - awesome! They'll rock your place off the map!!
