I would love to see Think Floyd USA out of Chicago play the Buffalo Chip. I guess I am a bit bias as I am lead singer for TFUSA. We play to a lot of bikers and biker events here in the Midwest. Like the Brokan Oar, Porters, Summerfest, etc. We have been asked on so many occasions when we were going to get our asses out to Sturgis and the Buffalo Chip? I tell them " WE ARE TRYING, WE ARE TRYING " Please check us out at www.thinkfloydlive.com And if anyone knows who I contact for booking at the Buffalo Chip EMAIL ME AT info@thinkfloydlive.com Happy New Year to all !!! My husband would love to see you guys play. You may want to try to contact Woody. Some friends of ours play a lot of the places around the chip during Sturis, shades of purple, they love it, they do two shows a day :-) Good luck - hopefully see ya there. D |

Got to have more Rock in 06! A combo of old and new is the best like in O4 - it rocked! Old - ZZ Top, Heart, George Thorogood, New - Kid Rock, Nickleback. Too much whiney country in 05 - although Montgomery Gentry is always welcome, they rock the house. My vote for 06 is Skynyrd, Gretchen Wilson (not really), AC/DC, yeah I'll 2nd Tom Petty, Motley Crew, Aerosmith. Peace be upon all who ride .... trailers not included |

I agree that 04 ROCKED!! It was the best time I ever had. I was on the Montgomery Gentry website yesterday and noticed that they are scheduled to be at the Chip on the 7th. Hope it's true. They were great in 04. One of the most energetic concerts of the week. |

I think there was a pretty good mix last year. I loath country but the nights were split pretty good in my opinion. My favorite bands were Queensryche and Steve Miller. Twisted Sister was fun. Would have loved to seen Slayer or someone a bit harder rock the joint. Looking forward to seeing what is up for 2006. FSWA http://www.fallonlive.com |

So far this years line-up looks pretty good ! I saw Montgomery Gentry a couple years ago at the Chip; and even though I`m not a country fan I liked them and wouldn`t mind seeing them again. I also saw George T at the Chip and he was great, a real rocker I`ve only heard a few Gretchen Wilson songs but i think she would be worth seeing.;) Keep up the good work ! Show me Sheryl Crow and Alice Cooper and I`m there baybeeeee !! |

| I NOTICE THAT Lynyrd Skynyrd WEBSITE DOES NOT SHOW BUFFALOCHIP AS ONE OF THERE CONCERTS.. BUT IF YOU CLICK ON THE CHIPS HOME PAGE FOR SUNDAY AND YOU CLICK "TBA" THAT WILL TAKE YOU TO THE Lynyrd Skynyrd SITE AT THE CHIP.. I WISHED SOMEONE AT THE CHIP WOULD COMMENT ON WHATS HAPPENING. |

The concerts for 06 looks great. But how about some newer rock. Social Distortion is a great punck rock band from sounthern cali, been around since 1978, their last album in 2003 was fresh (and not as mainstream as nickelback, '04'rally) and they are back in the studio now! Whatever the lineup--can't wait to party at the chip again! Will be our 3rd year in a row at the chip and have had a blast and met great people every time. Wouldn't stay anywhere else! |

I agree... we need more ROCK in 06! Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, AC/DC, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Scorpions, Aerosmith, Foreigner and Tom Petty, would be AWESOME!! Should also have Kid Rock and Nickelback again! They totally rocked in 04!! On the country side of things, Keith Urban would be great because he's more "country-rock!" |
