Last time I went to Sturgis was in 2002. I was supposed to be riding with 5 male buddies. At the last minute all 5 guys chickened out. They said they had good reason.... but I say it was a chicken out.

I rode solo to Sturgis on my old 91 Heritage from Reno Nevada and this year planning on riding that same sweet machine all by myself from heat-drenched Las Vegas, Nevada.

I'm thinking I would like to get a Fenske Park camping site but they wont let me hire a site as a single female. I'm more than willing to pay for one ticket.. but I cant afford to buy two. Where can I post an add to look for someone (male or female) who might want to share a tent?

From what I understand, the prices are per person for two people. There is a extra fee if you camp solo.

I was under the impression that they provided you with a tent and other camping gear. If not, I'll gladly take you up on your generous offer. Thank you!

Hi Jazzy,
I will probabably have an unused VIP pass that I will be willing to let go at a discount. The only trouble is that I won't know until later this month if my buddy is willing to commit to Sturgis or not. I am guessing he will probably not go and the Extended Stay VIP ticket will be available. How long can you wait to buy the ticket?

I think you may have confused "Catered Camping" with the "Fenske Park"upgrade. Catered is Tent, cooler, towels, chairs ect. "Fenske Park" upgrade is all you need to camp w/your own equip. It would'nt be fair If they did'nt let single women camp in Fenske Park. Hope you have a safe trip and we'll see you in Fenske park. I might be the first one in, as I was last yr!

There were single ladies camped in there last year. Hell, that's probably the safest place for a single lady is in VIP.

Jazzy, Are you looking for a tent to stay in? That would be the catered camping in VIP. Maybe catered camping is more for singles and less for couples. Some of those tents will hold 4 people easy.

We ALWAYS need single ladies at the Chip. Help even up the count. See ya at VIP Jazzy!

Fenske Park catered camping speaks of amenities for ONE person in the tent with an extra charge for others. Doesn't say anything about sex discrimination. You go for it Jazzy and we will see you there.

Hi Jazzy,
This is Not the VIP fan upgrade. Its the extended stay VIP camping pass. Meals, drinks, camping, special front and side stage access for all concerts, etc. per the website info. But no accomodations, you have to bring your own camping stuff. I have asked my buddy to commit or not. we will see. As it turns out, I may not be able to attend either (darn it) so if he doesn't want both I will have 2 tickets to sell at a REAL discount. I will find out in the next day or so and let you (and everyone) know.
