I plan on getting to the chip early on sunday (august 2nd) after 2700km drive from Ontario Canada. I'm hoping there will still be camping sites available and plan on researving a spot very soon. I guess my big question is, when does the campground fill up? I'd like to get a site that's not on the back fence line! lol Thanks and see you all soon, Germ |

The Buffalo chip is bigger than some town! Tent space is never an issue. Show up and have fun. Tent camping/concert Resevations Save Money. But, There is no reseerved spaces for general tent sites.
Only suggestion.... Try to get there well before concert starts, Before 4:00PM is best. Trafic and lines at ticket both get really bad later in the evening.
BTW: You picked the right place to party, Every place else is just trying to copy the Chip!

| you will have no problem finding a camp site. the areas are large and open, viewing the map on the chip page doesn't really give you an understanding of how big of a place it is for this event. i was a first time chipper last year and had the same concern, we got there Saturday bout 5pm and had open camp sites around us all week and we stayed right on the main rode down the hill and to the left about half way between the emerald pond and the beer and ice store at the top of the hill. great spot for watching all the concert goers and the parades of campers. do not sweat it. have a blast. |

| After a long talk with the boss, she's decided to fly out so I'll be riding out a bit quicker and hopefully be pulling in sooner. |

Yeah - you'll not have a problem finding somewhere to pitch yer tent.... Now I can't guarantee you'll remember where it is by the end of the concerts ;)
Enjoy! |

It's good to hear that there will be lots of room for a few tents for my group. If I have a choice when I get there, what is the best location to set up? Is it August yet? lol |

The best spot is always taken by Rolling Rock, when you get to the Chip , take a tour around the place. Pick a spot, make yourself at home and get Ready to Party !!!! I've stayed in Fenske Park (the safe Zone! LOL) but I'd say anywhere near emerald pond would be my next choice. |

| Thanks for the info FlaSteve. I thought the camping around the pond would be a good choice if there are spots available. I started planning the ride out by myself but now have 5 riders confirmed and the list is growing... Does the chip designate a site size for tents or can we take what we need? |

| The earlier you get there the more room around the spot you pick. If you get there 8/2 should be no problem. Stop by for a cold one, we'll be near the entrance to the pond. Look for the large gator head on my blue Rocker C ! |
