I will be riding from the East Coast of Florida to Sturgis Leaving August 1st.
I am interested in knowing who else is and considering riding partners.
Let me know a little about yourdelf and what you plans are if interested.
I will be staying in town but Partying at the Chip. I will be with the Charlie Brechtel Band and also taking photos for Easyrider Biker magazine, Bikernet.com and Sturgis Rider Live.

We are in Naples, fl and rented a cruise america rv and will be leaving on the 2nd.

I appreciate your offer but hopefully by the second I will be well almost half way to Sturgis.
Cruise America sounds like a good option if you are not riding. How many of you are going. Are you driving straight through with multipal drivers or stopping on the way?
Obviously I will have to be stopping and finding places to sleep.
I am on the East Coast in the Melbourne area. |

| Biker Rouge ,I rode out in "05" and took 75 to 24 to 57 to 64 to 70 to 29 to 90. 1908 miles to the chip. Got out there 2 weeks early and got some great ridin in. What a party 05 was ! Last yr. I trailered in,when we got there it was 113Deg. Have a great ride ! |

Steve, I have enjoyed my many trips to sturgis But 05 was extra special for me as that is the year i was inducted into the Sturgis Motorcycle Hall Of Fame.
Of course the parties that went with that was great.
I have taken the route you mention and it may be the one I take again this year.
I am still waiting for some of my friends and business associates to make up their mind, finish projects etc and let me know when they are leaving.
I do know I am leaving the morning of August 1st. No matter what the ride is always fun. Meeting people and adventuers await.

lol now we're leaving the evening of the 30th. More or so around 11:00 pm. Yes we will be driving straight through with other drivers. There are actually 7 of us traveling in the RV. We are meeting a friend in St. Louis and than one of the friends going with us, his brother is out in california and suppose to meet us there. Can't wait to see him, he did 2 tours in iraq and we will be waiting to hug him again. Our map tells us we are 1705 miles from the chip but just read flasteves post and see he said it was 1908. ready to party and see you all there

Biker ROGUE, sorry about the typo. I'll be looking forward to shaking your hand and tipping a cold one with you as we enjoy the great party Woody and the crew have got instore for everyone. Not sure when I'm leavin, but I'll keep an eye out for you along the route. Have a safe Ride.

Steve Looks like the plan is to be at the truck stop on I-75 in Wildwood at 9:00am on August 1st.
Then north on I-75 to I-24 to I-64 to I-70 to I-29 and the I-90 into Sturgis.

The ride out was great.
I met up with three guys in different pre arranged places and I think I can say we all enjoyed the trip.
We did get wet a few times and hot a whole lot more.
We seperated and went our seperate ways in Sturgis but all have contact info and I for one will be checking with them in a day or two. |

I rode to Sturgis with 3 other people that I had never met before and now I have 3 more friends.
I had a lot of events to cover for various publications but did have some time to party and make other friends also.
Yes it was another good year at Sturgis.
