Sojai! Si, Tequila! Muy Bueno Mierda! I have found yet another Mexican delite, (not the lovely lil senorita from Juarez. ;)) but........ The concoction is made from Blue Agave with parts of Respirado and Anejo combined with the Damiana Shrub for its liqueur taste and aphrodisiac effects. Check your local pop shop out for this Tequila Liqueur called Agavero. MUCHO Bueno Mierda! And I plan on bringing a stockpile. |

Sojai, That's cool, we will be staying in Missoula again too, last time we went was in 03, we will have all stops mapped out before we leave, we hotel it on the way there and back so we can rest up for the tent camping. We can exchange info to say hey once we get there if you want. |

A typing error about the Agavero. It is made from blends of reposada, (tequila aged in a French oak cask for 6 to 12 months) and anjeo, (tequila aged in the same type cask, but from 12 to 24 months). The Damiana plant is an OLD, OLD source of herbal medicine and spicing of drinking concoctions and plain old aphrodisiac distribution. Sojai, Let me know if you can't find it and I will help a brother out. |

;)Kinky Girl, which part of Michigan are you from? I live in the very southwestern corner on Lake Michigan. Chances are you will have to go right past me on your way.....There are so many bikes headed west that once you get to Chicago area, there are always groups of bikes headed west and most will let you ride along as long as you ride the same style, speed, etc. Kinky Girl, give me a holler about where you from, etc. How many riding in your group? One last important question, how did you get your screen name (i.d.)? |

For all of the bikers coming from the east, such as Indiana, Ohio, New York, Jersey, etc. many of you have indicated that you plan on taking I-80, which is the Toll Road in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and for a short distance in Illinois. Then you indicate going through Chicago on I-94 up to I-90. The ride through downtown Chicago on I-90/I-94 and out to I-90, which is just past O'hare airport, quite frankly sucks. There is always a lot of traffic, construction, pot holes the size of a sportster and those annoying tolls. While the mapping programs on the Internet usually route you that way, a better way to go is to stay on I-80. I think you will pay one or maybe two tolls verses the 6 to 8 you will pay on I-90. All of us know how handy it is to stop the bike, balance in the huge grease spot on the road, dig out money and then wad up your change and put it back ion your pocket. Stay on I-80 and take it to I-29, which is close to the Iowa / Nebraska border. Take I-29 north to either I-90, then west. Or, a more scenic route is Hwy 50 at Vermillion, South Dakota. Vermillion is only 21 miles or so into South Dakota. Take Hwy 50 west and then pick up Highway 18 along the southern border of South Dakota and take it west to Hot Springs. From there you can either take Hwy 79 straight up to Rapid City I-90. Or, when you reach Hot Springs, you can take 385 into Rapid City which will take you through Custer, directly past sites you will want to see anyway. Taking I-80 to I-29 and then I-90 to Sturgis is only 3 miles further than taking I-94 to I-90 to Sturgis and having to put up with all of the Chicago traffic and tolls crap. Just a suggestion, but I know which way I will be going....... |

Update on I 90. They started construction this week and it will be H*LL all summer so use the I80 alternate route and bypass Chicago. On more reason for me to stay away from downtown. |
