assuming you're asking me, wild, we're all hooking up from various states in the east (NC, SC, TN, NY) in Indianapolis and approaching Sturgis from the east on Hwy 44 through SD... staying in the Badlands KOA Friday night, coming into the chip early Sat morning. 9 bikes at the moment - half the guys have wives flying in Rapid that afternoon... hope we remember to go get them!
Only staying two nights before we do Wyoming and Monana and back. But it's looking to be a wild two nights!

| Hi every one washington State here, we are 3 bikers leaving Redmond, WA on the 5th first night at Missoula,MT second night at Jackson, WY and the to the chip.....any one want to ride with us more then welcome.....we are ready, what about you guys are you ready? |

My NEW home is Rochester, WA (between Seattle & Portland), but I travel all over the state and sometimes Alaska, too.... However, my job moved me here last year from Rapid City, SD. I can't wait to get back home to ride with my friends & see my family.
Since I will be hauling my kids back to WA with me, I will be trailering it this year. I have a 24' enclosed car trailer, so if anyone needs to have their bike hauled to Sturgis, just let me know. I should have room for about 6-bikes. I'm sure we can work something out.
If anyone happens to be coming from Phoenix to Sturgis & has room in their trailer, I have a bike in Phoenix that desperately needs to be hauled to Sturgis. I have friends that can meet you to get my bike, if you beat me there....
I plan to arrive in Sturgis (or Rapid City) the evening of Sat., Aug. 5th and I will leave to return Sat. Aug. 12th.

| we are leaving from Oregon on the 3rd or 4th, we stopped in Missoula last time so probably will again, this is our second time, my first time on my own bike. |

were coming from newark,del. it's about 1,800 miles one way.first stoping off in ohio.going to the pro football hall of fame to see reggie white get inducted into the hall then making a straight run into sturgis to the chip i cannot wait i'm chompin at the bit to get out there. this our first time out and all i've heard is nothing but good things about it. i need just one thing i was reading a post about bypassing chicago because of all the tolls and constuction if anyone has any info on this it would be appreciated |

| If you are on 90 it is toll in Illinois, and they are working on the toll booths. The traffic could be bad. You might want to go south of the city if you can and then turn north into Wi. or Minn. |

Wife and I are leaving Olympia WA. on Friday the 4th. Also looking for people to ride along with at the same time. Our route is a simple one with no pressure on time. I-5 to 18 to 90 (easy enough :whistling ) One thing I know for sure, PARTY!!!!!!!!!! |

I've Just changed my plan for the fourth time !Leave Fl. 7/21 to,DE,PA,Cleve,OH(Rockin Roll Hall of Fame) thru Windy into MN. on I-90 and The CHIP ! The Windy City is not bad from 11pm to 4am ,except if they're working on the road. And I know they've been working on I-80,I-90 for the last 25 yrs. "Bill124" had very good advice. Stay safe and Arrive Alive ! |

Hey Joe,
Hi there neighbor. Just a FYI; I live just up the road a small piece. 8600 block on Littlerock Road. This will be my first year to head to Sturgis. I am really excited to be going. The wife is going to stay here; she says her butt cant take that long trip. Also she is not as interested in riding anymore. Sad but true. Well no matter. I work for Department of Transportation in Tumwater as Electrician. Well just wanted to say hello. Hope to see you at Sturgis. I am heading to Phoenix on tuesday from Sturgis. Going to see relitives there.

Me and my hubby are from Lubbock, Texas. We are leaving early on the 29th and traveling on 385. We are staying Saturday night in Lamar, Colorado. Sunday we will be traveling from there to Chadron, Nebraska. Then Monday the 31st we get up and have a very short ride into the Chip. We are staying until the 13th and then heading back home. We will be taking only 2 days to get home though. Our plans are to stay in Burlington Colorado on Sunday night and driving straight through on Monday the 14th into home. I have one more day off, the 15th, and then back to the real world on the 16th.
So, is everyone else as excited to go as I am? These last 2 weeks are going to be murder! |
