I am finally getting to writing this since we are now living in our own home again! We have been coming to the chip for years and just love it! On Aug. 12, at the last moment we decided to go to Disturbed! (great concert)As we were meeting Rupert, Ross and Rotten announced our family was concerned because a tornado had ripped through Wright Wyoming! We soon started getting calls from everyone saying they thought our place was ok so we decided to stay and have a good time. (plus we had had a litte to drink) The concert was one of the best and we had a great time. The next morning we were informed that our house was destroyed. We went straight back and the devastation was mindboggling! After the intial shock wore off, we realized how close we had been to staying home! Not only did it possible save us but it helped that our kids were with their grandparents and never had to see the devastation. (it was hard for us, let alone our kids)! The only regret we have is not being able to see Twisted Sister! So a big thanks to Woody and the crew for making such a great party, Ross and Rotten for the announcement, and Disturbed for a kick ass concert. Thanks to all and see you in August! |
