Haven't seen anything from you in a while. Wondering where and how you
are. Don't print my name or old identity, please, but I used to write
to you a long time ago. I remember how you slept on picnic tables
aross America, and how you could tell us which "rest areas" had the best
vending machines, etc... I tried to meet up with you at the "Dickie
Betts" concert last year, but apparently it wasn't "meant to be"! I
looked high and low for the "right outfit" to wear, and then, when I got
there, you never even came up and introduced yourself! I was
disappointed for awhile but I got over it. Just wondering how you
have been....... |

OOOOOO baybeeeeee, you miss me !! This is too weird, I was thinking about you today wondering what ever happened to you. YOu wouldn`t believe all the crap I `ve had to deal with since the first of the year. I wouldn`t mind dealing with the crap if it were my crap, but it is someone elses crap and i`m the one who has to deal with it. That`s why I havn`t been posting in a long time. And because of all the crap I won`t be able to go to Sturgis and the Chip this year. I`m really upset about it because i love the ride out and the Chip has some great music this year and I`m gonna miss it !! Sucks !!
But you can bet that sexy black lace biker dress of yours I`ll be there next year !!;)

Hey, glad to see you FINALLY checked out the website! And, noooooooooo, I didn't say I "missed" you per se'...... Just wondering if you were going to Sturgis this year. (How can I miss someone I've never met before? I thought THIS was the year! Oh well!) Maybe next year.

I am going to go to Sturgis this year, but only for one day (plus a half day to drive back to Montana). August 8th. Gotta check out my most favorite band in all the world: LYNYRD SKYNYRD! Yeah! Looking forward to it. How about you? Going to the concert?
No, I never did get my bike back. You can see it in the March (1991) issue of "Easyriders", in the 'Readers' Rides' section. (In case anyone cares to know what it looks like)
I had a "relationship" with a man. I got pregnant and had his child. Since our infant baby came along (and the six months prior to her birth) I chose not to ride the bike and I invited him to ride it. (I thought friends did this kind of thing for each other if they could!) Anyhow, after he started going crazy (meth) I decided to take the baby and leave. He kept my bike. But, I'm happy without him. Even if I never see the bike again, I think it was a GOOD trade!  I don't hate him. And, I try not to say anything negative about him, at least around my daughter who is now 5 years old.

Hey. How did you know I was pouting?? I really was pouting. How did you know that? Can you read my mind? And yes I owe you an apology. I was going to introduce myself to you but i was waiting for us to just start talking casually first before i did. Then some sleazy babe with fake breasts moved in between us. Then you and your friend starting talking with some other guys and i thought i would wait for another chance to say howdy. I thought there would be more chances but...............
Well anywho.......the "crap" is all fixed ( i think ) so i have the green light for Sturgis next year
I may take a two day trip to east central ohio next week. The most direct route is 69 south through Indiana, but Indiana rest stops suck. The rest stops on 75 in Ohio are much better and since i`ll probably throw my sleeping bag down in one I`ll probably go via 75 in Ohio. As you know I`m a class act and only sleep at the finer rest stops.
If you go to Sturgis i hope you have a great time. I really wish i could go. I`ll miss the ride out, the Chip, ( they have great music this year )Bear Butte mountain, test riding motorcyles, Ross& Rotten....... o great now i`m depressed , guess i gotta go back to pouting

Well, I made a quick trip out to Sturgis last weekend. It was getting busy there! Cars & trucks still parking on Main Street but there were a few bikes along there too. What is the name of the street that comes in from the Deadwood exit? Is that "Lazelle"? Or maybe it's "Junction". I can't remember. Anyhow, we came off the first exit into Sturgis (from the West) and we drove by the "McDonalds" and there were a few bikes, but then, as we started getting closer to downtown, quite a few more bikes came into view, and the vendors started popping up! They were everywhere! And, at the the "Main" corner, where you turn to go up to Main Street, there were a ton of vendors there. Lots of tables of t-shirts already set-up! Wow. And, this is only the middle of July (is what I was thinking)!
I was going to block off a chunk of earth for some friends at the "Chip" but when I got to the Sturgis Library, it was closed for renovations! Arghhh! I didn't know what to do cuz I asked my friend where I was to "block off a piece of land" and I was awaiting his reply. I needed to get to someplace where I could access an Internet, and I couldn't see his "reply" to me. The clock was ticking. Library was out of the question, and I didn't think I could get to the library in Rapid in time before 5:00 p.m.
Anyhow, long story! My daughter and I still had a good time but I didn't get to "block off a piece of the Chip" for my friends, like I wanted to. Bummer! Guess I just decided at too late of an hour to go to Sturgis. I would like to go this weekend, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to! Next week I will (August 4th) but then, I won't get to take my kid. I was taking now so that she could enjoy some of the same fun in the Black Hills that I do every year (BEFORE the deluge of Bikes)!
I'm going to the Bike Rally this year, but only for a couple days. Aug. 8 & 9. Gotta see my favorite band in all the world: LYNYRD SKYNYRD! |
