SO me and a few buddies are coming to Sturgis for the first time. We have the catered camping already booked. Sturgis is going to be the first stop on a 3 week trip. From the looks of this message board it seems that we are staying in the right place to have a really good time. We are from Edmonton, Alberta. Its Western Canada for you that don't know. So how many other guys from Canada are on this board, we are always looking for more people to ride down with.

Giddyup!!

Fellow Canuck...Sturgis Bound.

I have decided to head down to the Buffulo Chip, and coughed up for the Catred camping as well (what a good idea btw). The only thing is, as it stands right now I am riding Solo. (None of my friends have had the balls to buy a bike...). I have been riding for a couple of years now and have been thinking about going down to Sturgis...I finally bit the bullet and decided to go (solo) and figured that I would have fun meeting cool people along the way!!

Cheers!

Just out of curiosity...Can anyone suggest a good route to get there? This is my first time going down there, and was curious about riding times and how much time I should count on to get there...any help or suggestions would be appreciated...

depending where you start from ;I like to ride 650 to 700 miles a day;that seems fairly easy to do ; solo you will make good time , if take side trips along the way it takes longer the main thing is to enjoy the trip

Hey, Electrogeeks, where are you leaving from? And Calgarychick when are you leaving and what route are you taking. We're going through Montana and taking 2 days to get there. Can't wait, counting down the days. We're going to Vegas from Sturgis, anyone else?

And speaking of the Sweater Vest Gang, I haven't seen them on here. Hello! Are you out there?

You calling us out Pek? The Sweater Vest Gang is alive and well - five of us riding up from Denver on the 5th with more members joining throughout the week. Dirk, are you with our Canadian chapter? We will set up camp at Sweater Vest Hill in the Emerald Pond area. Looking forward to seeing you and Lil Red again – and of course all of the fellow beer bashers.

Iceman!

Hey Bro! My clutch fingers are itching for a ride in the hills and my drinkin' arm is ready for a cold brew and a shot o' good ol' #7 at the Jack Daniels Bar.

We're gonna be looking for Beer Bashers all during the rally each day. That Sat will be Jack Daniels Day and the 1st day of the Beer Bash. But, me n' Lil Red want to see all our good friends and have a toast for a great time.

See ya'll in August.

No i din't get caught up with any of the gang last year as i had talked with you and didn't find you but that is to be the fault of a large bottle of J.D.I ended up there late last year thanks to border patrol . But a Chapter member is this years must.
