hey yall, sometime ago i mentioned that i was writing a murder mystery, 'Death in Sturgis', set in sturgis with the hero staying at the Chip. If anyone wants to read a pre-publication version, I'll e-mail a Word version of it to you. When it's published it'll cost a few bucks but i want my fellow Chipsters to get a free look because yall are the ones that make this place the Best Party Anywhere! If you want a copy that you promise not to modify, distribute, etc. send me your e-mail and i'll send a free e-copy to you! First 100 requests, only, please. Any resemblance to anyone, living or dead, is purely coincidental and all that kind of stuff... BTW, 'Death in Daytona' is already underway countin' the days, Doc |

I’d really like a copy – I promise not to copy / distribute etc. I don’t normally read Murder mystery as a genre but would look forward to reading this. I’m writing a novel – set in 12 century. Starts in Wales, moves to Ireland then to France – no bikes in it yet, but some HOGs WW |

| Hey Doc, Thanks for the copy. It is definitely a page turner and I really enjoyed it. You definitely know your history when it comes to the black hills. I really enjoyed your accurate descriptions of the rides, local bars, and of course the Chip – It brought back a lot of good memories. Good luck with the publication. T |

Doc: Thanks for the novel- I really enjoyed it! The details you put in about the people, bikes, and locations made it great. You can tell when an author is very knowledgeable about what he is writing about and it shows in your book. Put me on the list for Death in Daytona! Thanks again for sending it! |

i'm real glad yall liked the book! i think that it's true to bikers, sturgis and the Chip while giving you a good, heart-pumping adventure. thanks to those 30 or so people who gave me feedback here & by e-mail. the book's going to be published! however, it won't be in print by this year's rally... it will be ready by november, though, so i'm thinking biketoberfest and christmas presents under the tree! my publisher won't let me give away many more free copies but if you ask through this web site, i can somehow send out a few more... (darn that enter button is slippery with all the beer and chicken wings that get spilled around here!) now who should play stroker in the movie version??? thanks again, doc |

I would love to have an opportunity to read your book. Just be careful that Buffalo sauce doesn't get to deep into the keyboard, they're really a beautch to clean. As for Stroker....well there really is only one person to play him.....and that's me!!! Just kidding. That would onl be the man himself......STROKER!!! |
