hey yall,

those rented RV's are NICE! i ride all the way out from ohio, all dusty & tired, show up and the nice folks from jack's campers have everything ready! i fill the fridge with cold beer, grab a shower and am ready to party! they're located at the back of the camper area away from most everything so it gets kinda quiet at night. stop by for a cold one!

The Wife and I along with a buddy and his girl friend are coming all the way from East Texas. It about 1500 miles one way. We are going to trailer because we are bringing three bikes and a four seater Mule for the rally grounds. I really think this will be a trip to remember. Tonight it's sleeting and snowing here, it's seems a long way from the warm riding days of August. The wife will be excited about the RV's being on the back side, because she was worrying about getting some type of sleep during the week. We did the ROT rally in Austin, TX last year and let me tell you sleep was far and few. The whole hotel was solid bikers, the constant sound of racking pipes all hours. Look forward to the party. As it gets closer us on the forum should post our lot numbers so we can hook up and party. If any of you have any advice for a first timer a the chip I am open to any suggestions.

By the way I am the owner of a new On-Line Biker Store

I was wondering what the temps are normally like in SD in August. Here in East Texas it's a humid 100 degrees most of August.

hey jon, i live between cleveland & akron, in the cuyahoga valley national park. some years i go straight thru, sometimes i go north & across the UP, maybe i'll go a southern route this year. almost all backroads, find a little motel & bar for the night and meet people along the way. that's life! it's no fun for me to hightail it across the bland, boring interstates and i don't even know the meaning of the word 'trailor'!
let's go to the easyriders show next weekend in columbus & i'll buy the first beer!
