Rushmore A.B.A.T.E. Membership Party
Once again the World Famous Buffalo Chip Campground in Sturgis will host the Rushmore Chapter of ABATE ‘s Accelerator Party. This biker party begins Friday June 13th and continues until June 15th. The Buffalo Chip has hosted the Accelerator Party since its inception. This huge biker event kicks off Friday night with Baby Snakes a local cover band cranking out the music starting at 5:30.
The biker fun continues as The Worlds Best Biker Band the Fryed Bothers hit Buffalo Chip’s Sam Kinison Stage At about 8:30. There will be biker games staged throughout the night included but not limited to pig races and minnow races. Saturday June 14th the biker fun continues in Sturgis at the World Famous Buffalo Chip with the Tom Lund Memorial.
This biker ride tours several of the well known canyons in the Sturgis area. A biker style rodeo sets the stage for the afternoon action with such biker activities as the wiener bite, drive by shooting, plank race, and many different biker events to participate in. The Buffalo Chip’s pond is also available for swimming or sunbathing. A biker favorite is the Silent Auction where many new donated items will be up for grabs. We will be cooking up a biker’s staple of life meal Saturday night for all bikers to feast on.
The Buffalo Chip’s Sam Kinison Stage erupts again at 5:30 with Chapter 11 taking the stage to rock the bikers. The Worlds Best biker band The Fryed Brothers take the stage again at about 8:30 to rock the crowd until they can’t rock no more. Adult beverages are provided throughout the weekend as part of the admission fee.
This 3 day event at The World Famous Buffalo Chip is a membership drive for Rushmore Chapter of ABATE but you do not need to be a member to participate. Sunday there will be a non denominational biker church service by the Christian Motorcycle Association. Everyone welcome but no minors , no pets , no attitudes
