One thing we’ve come to realize about our Sturgis Rally guests is that they definitely work up some pretty big appetites. And it’s no wonder when you consider all there is to see and do at the Buffalo Chip Campground.
Remember you’re coming to Sturgis for vacation and being on vacation means taking a break from your mundane daily tasks. Even if you plan to bring along cooking equipment, plan to give it some time off while you’re here.
Here’s a sampling of what awaits your taste buds this year at Buffalo Chip.
The VIP Treatment
We can’t all be VIPs but while you’re visiting Buffalo Chip during the 2008 Sturgis Rally you can definitely eat like one! All you have to do is take a seat at Stage West.
Tucked away in the Stage West kitchen is where you’ll find the same people who’ll be feeding the Chip’s headliner bands and other very important Buffalo Chip people. In between preparing meals for VIPs, they’ll be cooking up some of the best food you’ll find anywhere in Sturgis.
These seasoned chefs have planned a variety of nightly specials guaranteed to make your taste buds dance with delight. They also have a reputation for making a mean prime rib so be sure to stop by and steak your claim.
With 5-star food and a comfortable environment Stage West is also the perfect place to celebrate. So keep that in mind if you plan to pop the BIG question like so many prior Sturgis Rally attendees have done.
Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or you simply want to relax and enjoy a great meal that someone else cooked, you can’t leave Buffalo Chip without spending at least one evening at Stage West!
Late night muchie attack?
We’ve got a cure for that, too! Stop by Taco Bell or Domino’s and curb your urge with pizza, wings, tacos, salads and soda. Taco Bell will serve up combos until midnight and Domino’s promises to stay open until 1:30 am and maybe even later to take care of your late-night noshing needs. With advance planning Domino’s can even help you feed a large gathering. If you’re planning a Buffalo Chip reunion or some other type of get-together inquire about their party services.
Coffee, please!
Besides evening dining and late night snacking, you’ll find plenty of ways to get your day off on the right track. Coffee, pastries, eggs, sausage, toast, juices, and even tacos, burritos and other spicy foods can help kick start your engine. Serving daily starting around 8:00 am your breakfast choices include Stage West, The Coffee Stop, and Taco Bell.
Where’s the Buffalo!
No trip to anyplace named Buffalo anything would be complete without buffalo meat and that’s exactly what the Black Hills Bison Company does best. While you’re visiting Buffalo Chip try a buffalo burger or brat. Their sweet taste and nutritional value will surely surprise you!

Hours may vary, posted hours are our minimum hours, we try to open as early in the afternoon as possible, and stay open until things die down after the concert.
Not all products are available at all times (after all, this is the Chip), but we'll do our best! Have a special request? Large party order? Stop in and talk to us, we'll see what we can do to accommodate you, we're locally owned and operated, and pick up supplies every day.

Taco Bell plans to be at the campground from Friday, August 4, 2007-Saturday, August, 12, 2007. (with teardown scheduled for Sunday)
Taco Bell will again have regular combo. meals available on site for around $5.00 throughout the day.
Breakfast menu items (served from 8 a.m.-11 a.m.) will include soft tacos, burritos, spicy foods, sausage/egg; bacon/egg items. The Super Breakfast combo. will also be available. Coffee, orange juice, potatoes, and cinnamon rolls will also be available during morning breakfast times.

The Coffee Stop proudly serves premium quality coffee and espresso. Our beans are roasted locally by the Sturgis Coffee Company and served exclusively at the Chip. Always hot and always fresh. If you like what you taste, we can arrange for additional coffee/espresso to be shipped to you after the rally.
