Howdy. If there weren’t so many doggone things going on we’d be able to get these notices to you sooner. But then the clues for this “guess the band contest” for the band that will be announced at 5:00pm tomorrow, Thursday, May 1, will be so easy you will not need to research it at all. The envelope please:
1. Gasoline without the alley - it’s not Rod Stewart.
2. Canadians, not Santa Monicans.
3. Musicians, not wrestlers.
4. Womanizers - oh heck, that’s not really a clue for a rock band is it?
5. Okay, there’s no chance in hell you aren’t going to guess this act.
Vicky will determine the winner and announce them as soon as I give her a time. Bear with us. But this is going to be another exciting rock act and the band will open for Lynryd Skynryd on Tuesday night, August 5, at the best party anywhere. It’s no surprise that we’ll be so happy to see you again in August and, until then,
Ride free and take risks.
