LITA FORD Leads off on Monday Aug 3rd
One of Woody’s favorite things to do is to bring out the acts that others just can’t get. Lita Ford, then, is no surprise today as The Chip announced that she will be bringing her rock and roll attitude on Monday August 3rd, 2009. She’s leaving her home on a deserted Caribbean island to join the campers at the Chip and play her first concert tour in 15 years.
Lita will join country music superstar Toby Keith during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in a must see combination of country and rock and roll. Lita’s hard rock roots date back to her 11th birthday and her role as the lead guitarist in the all-female rock band, The Runaways .
Lita is responsible for a string of hits including: “Close My Eyes Forever,” (a duet with Ozzy Osbourne), “Kiss Me Deadly, Hungry,” “Lisa,” “Gotta Let Go,” “Back To The Cave,” “Out For Blood,” “Shot of Poison,” and “Fallin In and Out of Love,” which she co-wrote with Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue.
Chip campers and fans! Make way for this first in 2009 as Lita Ford Rocks The Chip on Monday August 3th, 2009.

Here’s your reminder to set the VCR’s & DVR’s for the Discovery Channel on April 15th. American Thunder brings out the ultimate behind the scenes with Buffalo Chip on ice. The temps are keeping everything chilled on the frozen Chip tundra but that didn’t stop Woody from giving them the heated grand tour of the construction and the planning that goes into the 9 days of the Best Party Anywhere.
