2 Parties. 1 Ride. 2 Concerts. 1 Cause.
In an effort to throttle the disease that affects too many lives, the Legendary Buffalo Chip and Black Hills Harley Davidson have teamed up to Turn the Hills Pink on Friday August 7th. Riders have two exclusive parties to bookend a perfectly planned 45-mile ride filled with breathtaking scenery and special time to enjoy life on two wheels while making a contribution towards a cause.
100% of the $115 rider contribution along with Casting Party proceeds will support local and national charities that have goals to eradicate Breast Cancer. Each of the charities are moving forward with programs to enhance education efforts made by the Keep-A-Breast Foundation and fulfill image restoration needs with a new Boutique funded by the Rapid City Regional Health Foundation.
The 2009 PinkNProud event ends the rally week on a high note, celebrating motorcycling and showcasing the spirit of women riders. For more information or to register and make a contribution, head to www.pinknproud.com.
That’s one Big Flag!
The World’s Greatest Flag, flown in honor of America’s Freedoms, will be greeting the riders and fans all week at the Buffalo Chip. The flag measures 50’ by 80’ which is a spectacle in itself and after the colors are raised more than 120 feet in the air, you are bound to feel a rush of American Spirit. An addition to the Annual Military Tribute, the flag will be hoisted following a Raising Ceremony at the Buffalo Chip Sculpture.
Since room is sparse when you’re packing your things on your bike why not just have one tee waiting for you here? It’s a perfect solution to a few things like,
- Getting Woody’s autograph
- Having a Clean shirt just in case you feel like staying an extra day
- It shows everyone that you’re ahead of the game (the only way anyone’s getting one of these tees is if they’ve made their reservation early)
