The biggest yet!
If Webster came to the Legendary Buffalo Chip, surely the definition of Legendary would be rewritten to better address a few of the things represented by the campers, riders and fans that have made the Chip their home-away-from-home. In our world, legendary stands for embracing your freedoms, adhering to a laissez faire culture, riding all day and Rocking all night and it wouldn’t be that way without you, our legendary fans.
This week, we’re kicking off the 2010 line-up with a band that’s About the party, Great for bikers and Not politically correct, all in the name of an American celebration of motorcycling and camaraderie.
Challenge Winners
The Buffalo Chip Guitar Hero Challenge, powered by PlayNTrade Video Games of Rapid City, took place every afternoon at the Micro Brew Bar, qualifying players from easy to expert for Extraordinary prizes. Contestants came to prove their inner Guitar hero-esque while others had fun putting on their best rockstar impression. The 2010 Rally Passes and a guitar autographed by the Chip’s top-notch line up were up for grabs. Congratulations to Kendahl Wetz from Wright, Wyoming and Ben Rosa from Canby, Minnesota each winning prize packages.
Win 2 Fan VIP Upgrades!
The trivia tested - fan approved Guess The Band returns with a new spin on getting upgrades for you and a friend. The rules: tune into your Sturgis Rider Enewsletter, pick out the clues, send your best guess to guesstheband@buffalochip.com by the GTB deadline. Each correct entry will get into the drawing for the Buffalo Chip prize package and each drawn finalist from the contest will be in the running for 2 Fan VIP Upgrades. Not a bad prize for making a guess!
Guess the Band Clue:
The clues are in RED all over in this SRN. Each phrase is a clue, and when the first letters of each phrase (capitalized for your convenience) are unscrambled they spell out the first bona fide hit of the “perfect for the party” band. The first and last letters are in place! This edition of Guess the Band will close Friday September 25 at noon MST. Good Luck!
Rate Reminder:
The open book test is almost over and on Friday September 25th those who took advantage of the low, low rates and made their reservations early will get the A. For only one more day they are at the cheaper than dirt price of $155 for the official rally week, August 9-15 or tack on another two days for just $195.
Having troubles with commitment? Don’t worry! The Buffalo Chip will gladly transfer passes with appropriate paperwork if done by the deadline – so stop worrying where you’ll be in August 2010 and Plan to Be At the Chip!

Friends don’t let friends go without the latest edition of the Sturgis Rider Enewsletter. Pass it on! |
