Oh, my my my. There's nothing quite like the Buffalo Chip's Miss Hawaiian Tropic pageant. Just look who's coming so far...
Well, you have to have someplace where you can meet these lovely ladies and we're betting one of those popular places will be The Black Parrot. Those of you who have been to the Chip, no doubt remember Emerald Pond. Things are always changing. And this year, we've taken Emerald Pond and transformed it into an Oasis at the Buffalo Chip. We dredged the pond, added a beautiful fountain to keep the water clean, constructed five waterfalls against the dam that trickle down, under a brand new deck, where you can sit and dangle your digits in the cool water, and added white sandy beaches around the entire pond anywhere where there are no decks. And then, there's the Black Parrot, octagonal bar serving up your favorite Rum Runners and Tequila cocktails. The whole thing is accented by night lights in the fountains, trees and waterfall areas. It's a great place to sunbathe. And multiple outdoor showers will be available.
We know this is going to fast become a favorite watering hole at the Buffalo Chip. Folks are already planning weddings. We want to thank Mike at Brandt Construction for the fantastic work he's been doing on this project. He'll be at the Chip all week, servin' up your favorites and making sure everyone has a good time at the new Black Parrot.
