Howdy, it is time for another short newsletter. These beautiful days always make us think of August. We just got 6 inches of snow, there is frost on the trees and the pine trees are likewise flocked. It is just gorgeous; it makes us think of Christmas decorations that we do not have to pay for. White on white with shades of brown.
There will be a lot happening in the next couple of weeks so please check the website. There should be some major changes within a week and continuing.
The Buffalo Chip Shooting Complex will be hosting a National Pistol Tournament shortly after the 2007 rally. Firearms fans may want to keep on eye on those announcements. It may be fun to stay past the rally and shoot for a trophy.
The Chip is also proud to be able to announce that the 2nd Annual Rumble in the Hills Pro Hillclimb will be held on the hillside across the street from the amphitheater on August 8 and 9. It is a separately ticketed event, so be sure to stay tuned to the website for updates. Tickets will be available on the Chip’s website. It is going to be quite a scene, watching 240 horsepower nitro-burning Harley Davidsons rocket up a hillside. You can see more also at www.sturgisprohillclimb.com.
Many of you have asked for some Ross & Rotten CDs and were told that we did not have any. Wouldn’t you know a little office cleaning has turned up a very few of two of their best CDs. There are not very many of them, so it is first come first served for the short period of time they will last. They are available at the Buffalo Chip’s online catalog.
Spring is coming. We are very eager to be able to announce more of the things we have been working on. It is going to be one heck of a party. And for now, that is all.
