Congratulations Robbie Knievel
The Buffalo Chip’s good friend Robbie Knievel will be inducted into the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum’s Hall of Fame at its annual breakfast Wednesday morning, August 8, 2007. We congratulate Robbie on this well-deserved honor and hope that many of you will join us at the breakfast.
Stay tuned for future announcements about opportunities to meet Robbie at the Buffalo Chip during this upcoming rally. As some of you may have heard, Robbie does know how to party and we are going to have a lot to celebrate at this years rally. You will hear about some of the particulars first in this newsletter.
We further congratulation both Robbie and Evel. It was great to have the two of them appear together in Daytona. We look forward to further joint appearances of this father-son team.
Daytona is behind us. Its March 12 and more than 80 degrees at Sturgis and the rally is rapidly approaching. It is time we start making some additional announcements of the music for this years Sturgis Rally. The next announcement will be formally made next week.
Just a little aside - I met a remarkable 28 year old gentlemen on my way home. He was from Eritrea and has been in the United States for 3 years. He has traveled through many countries. He now owns a business of his own. He said he would like to remind all of us that what makes this country so good to live in is that here one is able to save money to start a family, and that here we are free to get an education and to work. He says America is the best place to be. “It is a good place to live.”
