Pecker Pond Returns To Chip
Hey! The Chip has some great vendors, but one of the coolest additions to any party are the Pecker Pond Ladies who, with a little modification, have really taken bobbing for apples to new heights. You can count on them to be having a great time throughout the entire event - and to share it with you. We love their spirit. What a party! More Music Announcements
Not that the gals at the Pecker Pond, or the beauty pageant contestants at the Buffalo Chip’s Black Parrot Beach aren’t enough addition to the many bands already announced, but we will be announcing more national headliners. Next week’s announcement will be very cool.
I know some of you are impatient. The Chip’s been here and doing this for 26 years. Sometimes we haven’t been able to make announcements until July. Once in October, but rarely before March or April. We plan to have the best entertainment available for the party, and always have. Always will.
The experienced Sturgis Rider knows that the Chip for each of the last 25 years has had a new (and different) "competitor" who was going to have the biggest and best concerts. So far none tried it a second year. We appreciate the loyal Buffalo Chip fans that come party with us every year, confident that we’ll throw a party like none before.
It’s not about corporate sponsorship. It’s not about a rock star. It’s not about claiming to be the world’s biggest, America’s largest, or the most expensive and it’s not about "owning it all." The Chip is about bikers. Like we said in 1981, "By Bikers, For Bikers." It’s a lifestyle event for adults who want to have some fun. So it remains. The Chip will be here for as many years as bikers come to party.
