Help Plan 2008's Party at The Legendary Buffalo Chip
The countdown has begun. By the time you read this e-newsletter there will be fewer than 300 days left until the largest biker party in the world starts at The Legendary Buffalo Chip for 2008. While the excitement and anticipation builds, Woody and his dedicated staff are already hard at work planning to make the 2008 party at the Legendary Buffalo Chip bigger and better than ever! (although it’s going to be hard to top 2007.)
And while Woody is busy planning the 27th annual biker bash, he wants to know who YOU want to party with at The Chip for 2008. Email your concert requests along with any thoughts or ideas to
concertrequests@buffalochip.com. Also, there will be plenty of concert announcements, contests and give-a-ways in future issues of this e-newsletter, so stay tuned.
Hurry Book Now, Before Woody Comes to His Senses!
Right now all three camping packages including the Early Bird Arrival Pass (July 28th through August 10th), the Extended Rally Pass (August 2nd through 10th) and Rally Pass (August 4th through 10th) are at the lowest prices they will be at all year. Like always, Woody is giving a ridiculous bargain to those who commit to the party before entertainment is confirmed. He’s working on acts, however, and will have to raise the rates accordingly in the near future.
Make your reservations now and get your “trip to the Chip” kicked into high gear before the prices go up. You’ll save some hard-earned cash and let Woody know there’s one more Chipster who’d like to see the Rolling Stones at the Sturgis Rally.
And don’t forget that you’ll also have the chance to buy one of the limited edition shirts Woody’s having made just for those of you who reserve early. The design will be unique (it isn’t yet completed) and he’ll be producing only one for each person who reserved (or has already reserved when the artwork goes online) and orders one in advance. Look for the artwork to be on display yet this month. The price is going to be as low as possible and will be available upon your arrival to avoid shipping fees.

Whether your idea of roughing it at The Chip consists of a tent or luxury motor coach, we want to see who had the coolest campsite at the Chip in 2007. Chip Favorites, The Dan Lawson Band Release Their Self-Titled CD “Dan Lawson”
The Legendary Buffalo Chip is famous for putting together one of the best concert lineups on the planet, with shows by Toby Keith, Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd, just to name a few. And The Chip is also known for its hard ridin’ and hard-rockin’ biker bands who are on their way up - like The Dan Lawson Band.
Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, Dan Lawson has just released his 4th CD, eponymously entitled “Dan Lawson.” This killer compilation features a sound and soul of the open road with tracks like“Just Ain’t Easy, courtesy of Gregg Allman, which has received rave reviews.

Hey - but we don’t care. “Official” just never seemed like much fun to us. We recommend that anyone who wants a report on what he might have missed at the 2007 Sturgis Rally, or at the Chip, pick up a free copy of October edition of The Thunder Press, which I guess are available about everywhere motorcycle.
The fun, excitement and entertainment value of Legendary Buffalo Chip was at an all time high. Chipsters enjoyed one of the best concert lineups on the planet, made all the easier to enjoy by the continual improvements made to the facilites.

Thunder Beach – Panama City Beach Florida
Thousands of Riders showed up in Panama City Beach for the 7th annual Autumn Thunder Beach Rally over this past weekend. A city wide event with vendors, music, and planned activities daily at 5 different locations made for a great event as well as some great rides along NW Florida’s Emerald coast. Of the many nightly hot spots, the party was on at the Tiki Bar located at the Sandpiper Beacon Beach resort with concerts on the beach all week long, a variety of contests, burnout exhibitions, and more. Overall this is a very “Biker Friendly” event. The restaurants, bars, and resorts treat everyone right and look forward to this rally every spring and fall. The spring event is scheduled for May 1st – 4th 2008
We were there at the Spinnaker Beach Club with our new Buffalo Chip promotional display offering merchandise, reservations for 2008, and to provide information on the campground and events for those that haven’t yet had the Buffalo Chip experience. With a constant stream of visitors to our booth over several days, many of these visitors had been to the Buffalo Chip in past years and were pleased to see us there as well as share their stories about the great time they had. For those planning a ride to Sturgis for the first time or for those that go on a regular basis, this was a great opportunity for us to let everyone know where the “Party” really is. We are currently in Myrtle Beach this week located next to MB Harley and we also will be in at the Daytona fall rally across from Destination Daytona Oct 18th – 21st.

When she's not brightening the days for scores of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally crowds as the Buffalo Chip/Miller Lite poster model, Jessica is a student studying psychology.
Recently, her apartment was destroyed by fire. She and her roommates lost everything including their pets. Among the items lost were her photos taken with all the new friends she met while serving as the Buffalo Chip's poster model during the 2007 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
