Howdy,
Good news on the Sturgis Rally entertainment front - the Chip’s first major concert headliner will be announced on Wednesday, November 21st! And a second one on Friday, November 26th! We’re very excited because it’s rare that entertainers confirm before February. We, of course, have you to thank for that because it’s the campers’ appreciation that makes the artists so enjoy performing concerts at the Chip.
Thank you also for sending such courteous notes as the following received yesterday from a lady named Sue:

2007 was the first year that I experienced the Sturgis Adventure and I stayed with all of you at the Buffalo Chip. What a great time!! I had heard many tales of horror...waiting 2 hours to take a shower, filthy toilet facilities and countless tales of waiting in traffic. Fortunately all of these tales were "urban legends", you & your staff run a class operation. I was amazed how clean the facilities were considering that we were living in a field. You & your staff should be proud of the feat that you pull off, creating a "city in the desert" for almost 2 weeks."
The crew deserves and appreciates the kudos.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
First, prices will still be the best bargain on the planet, but they will increase at 8:00 a.m. on November 21, 2007. Now would be the time to get off the fence, make that decision to save some beer money and get your reservations at the lowest price ever.

Third, I haven’t figured out how we’ll announce the winners of the first " Guess The Band" contest, so look for that in an additional newsletter.
Fourth, now is the time to submit your entry predicting the act to be named in the second announcement. We’d like to see you partying with the stars. It’d been requested for years, but we didn’t want to offer the same old as everyone else. We wanted premium and exclusive stuff for the Chipsters, and found a first class jeweler able to make real Buffalo Chip and Sturgis design jewelry out of genuine silver and gold. The ladies at the office love this stuff, and so do I. It’s the highest quality possible and in distinctive designs worthy of being worn by Chipsters and their ladies. Enjoy.
