Rumble in the Hills Pro Hillclimb Scheduled for August 6th and 7th at the Legendary Buffalo Chip.  

 

Not only is The Chip the place to see the nations’ top music performers as part of its legendary 9-day concert series, it’s also home to the North American Hillclimb Association’s “Rumble in the Hills”  hillclimb racing series scheduled for Wednesday, August 6th and Thursday, August 7th during the Sturgis Rally.  Some of the world’s top-ranking riders will launch their specially engineered alcohol and nitro-burning bikes up over a series of near-vertical walls and ledges on their way up a 300 plus foot hill  to hopefully fly right over the top!  You’re gonna be up close and personal as you witness spectacular rides and even more spectacular crashes in four separate shows, one at 10am and one at 5pm each day on the 6th and 7th.  Be a part of Sturgis racing history and attend one of these action-packed shows for only $15 admission per show.    Click here to get your tickets. 

 

What's unique about this picture is it was taken on Sunday, a week before the rally.  Pictured are Chuck from Maryland, and Wade from Arizona.  We had never met as of 2 hours prior to this picture.....  We camped on BUG Steet, South 40, we were about the 1st there at the Chip, infact about 150 on our temp wrist bands....What you don't see is the other 5 new friends that soon camped near us, Detriot, Doc & Pam and their 2 lovely daughters.  There are 9 of us who are headed back to the Chip in 08 and will party together on the South 40..hopefully with 3 more of our wives...What happened in  07 after ..two weeks of partying together........we are like friends for life.  We all talk, email, and write occasionally to each other........A Bonded Circle of Friends that our HOGS, the CHIP, and PARTYING, got us together......We'll enter the 08 contest as we'll be doing it in style.......It can only happen at the Chip....
