The 2008 concert lineup at the Legendary Buffalo Chip was already at epic proportions with southern rock icons Lynyrd Skynyrd scheduled for Tuesday, August 5th and country superstars Sugarland and ZZ Top scheduled for Thursday, August 7th. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, The Chip will be proud this Friday, January 25th, to announce the addition of another American rock and roll icon to its 2008 Sturgis Rally concert lineup at “The Best Party Anywhere.”
Woody’s holding off to give us a chance to let you get in on the action with our “Guess the Band at The Chip Contest.” That’s right, correctly guess the name of the band we will be announcing on Friday, the 25th and you will be entered into a random drawing for a pair of Fan VIP Passes to the concert of your choice at The Chip absolutely free!

ENJOY BRAND NEW CABINS AT THE CHIP FOR 2008!  

 

If your idea of roughing it at the Legendary Buffalo Chip consists of cozy, air conditioned cabin, we have great news!  The Chip is proud to announce new cabins are being constructed in the quietest and most private section of the campground.  Park your bike and-or vehicles nearby and sit on the porch on Crazy Horse Ridge and take in incredible views of Bear Butte.  These 12 x 12 cabins have air conditioning and are furnished with two single-sized sleeping surfaces with air mattresses, a small table, two indoors chairs and two porch chairs.  Bedding can either be purchased at the convenience store or you can bring it along.  This deluxe package adds a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.  (Water is available from a nearby outdoor spigot.)  Price is $1350.  A security deposit of $300 will be added to the price upon purchase which is refundable at your departure if no damage is caused and all furnishings are present. Each person staying in the cabin must have also purchased either a Rally pass or an Extended Rally pass.  Cabins may also be rented without the refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker at a cost of $1150.  The security deposit would be $200.   Call (605) 892-4101 to rent a cabin in this Basic package.
