Tickets Now Available for the First Annual Legends Ride Presented by the Legendary Buffalo Chip and the City of Deadwood.

 

How would you like to rub elbows and ride along with celebrities from music, film, racing, custom bike building and the world of premium cigars?  If this sounds like a good time to you, join us for the first annual Legends Ride, Thursday – August 7th presented by the Legendary Buffalo Chip with tremendous support by the City of Deadwood.  This incredible event will benefit the Kids & Chrome Foundation, which in turn benefits the Children’s Home Society and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum.
The Legends Ride kicks off in historic Deadwood, South Dakota where participants will park front-and-center on historic Main Street and be treated to a variety of entertainment and activities at the Silverado-Franklin Gaming Complex and a special celebrity meet and greet reception at the Deadwood Tobacco Company. 
The Legends Ride continues with an escorted ride from Deadwood on a beautiful 50-mile route through the “Hills of Dakota” on the way to the Legendary Buffalo Chip for an exclusive VIP party and concert with country superstars Sugarland and rock n roll hall of famers ZZ Top.

One of our favorite rockers at the Legendary Buffalo Chip, Dee Snider former font man for Twisted Sister and current cast member of CMT’s hit reality TV show “Gone Country” is organizing a benefit concert for the victims and survivors of the devastating club fire involving the brand Great White in 2003.  Twisted Sister, Tesla, Stryper, Jewel, Kellie Pickler and Tom Scholz will play February 25th at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.  The concert, which will be broadcast on the VH1 Channel provided a opportunity to book headliners and raise needed funds to help pay survivors medical bills.  Snider says, “It can cost up to $70,000 a day to treat some of the burn victims of this tragedy.”  One hundred Great White fans were killed when the blaze swept through The Station Nightclub in 2003.  The band’s guitarist Ty Longley also perished in the fire and more than 200 additional spectators were injured.  If you are in the Providence area we encourage you to attend the concert and help the victims of this tragedy.  For more information or to send a contribution log on to www.stationfamilyfund.org

 

 

So do you want the good news or the bad news first?  The bad news is that the new cabins being built at the Legendary Buffalo Chip have already been sold out.  The good news is that Woody is going to build more.    These 12 x 12 cabins have air conditioning and are furnished with two single-sized sleeping surfaces with air mattresses, a small table, two indoors chairs and two porch chairs.  Bedding can either be purchased at the convenience store or you can bring it along.  The Deluxe package adds a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.  (Water is available from a nearby outdoor spigot.)  Price is $1350.  A security deposit of $300 will be added to the price upon purchase.  It is Refundable at your departure if no damage is caused and all furnishings are present. Each person staying in the cabin must have also purchased either a Rally pass or an Extended Rally pass.
