Twisted Sister, Dee Snider Competes on “Celebrity Apprentice”
The Twisted Sister frontman and Sturgis Buffalo Chip regular will be going head to head against other celebrities on Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice”. That’s right, while Dee Snider may not be wearing the wig and makeup that he performed in while at the Chip with Twisted sister in Sturgis, SD, you can still watch Snider as he competes, to win $250,000 for charity.

Snider will be competing to raise awareness and money for the March of Dimes Foundation that works to improve the health of mothers and babies. As part of his fundraising for the March of Dimes, he holds an annual Dee Snider Bikers for Babies event.

Snider joins an amazing Celebrity Apprentice cast including former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza, “American Chopper” star Paul Teutul Sr, singer Clay Aiken, “Incredible Hulk” Lou Ferrigno, Star Trek star George Takei and many more.

“Celebrity Apprentice” airs Sundays at 9:00 pm ET on NBC starting Feb. 12.

Win Concert Tickets with Local Minute to Win It Contest
Join the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Q 92.3 and SHE 106.3 as we bring back the popular Minute to Win It contest to regional bars for your chance to win Sturgis Buffalo Chip concert passes of your choice. We’ve added 15 new games to the contest this year.

Registration begins at that night’s bar location at 6:30 pm. Only the first 20 people registered get to play games based on the popular TV show so make sure to get there early. The top 3 contestants win tickets to the Buffalo Chip’s Sturgis rally concert of their choice and move on to the semi finals. Don’t worry, audience members can get in on the fun with chances for prizes as well.

Minute to Win It kicks off at the Blue Lantern Lounge in Rapid City, SD on Feb. 11 so come out for a good time, cheer on your friends and win!

Paving the Way – Early Female Moto-Journalist
Our preview of the “Paving the Way – The Women of the Motorcycle Hall of Fame” exhibit, takes a look at 2001 Hall of Fame Inductee and moto-journalist, Genevieve Schmitt. The Sturgis Buffalo Chip® and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame are excited to bring Sturgis rally-goers and Sturgis campers another sneak peek into this unique exhibit.

Genevieve Schmitt is one of the early female moto-journalists in the United States. She was founder and editor of Woman Rider Magazine, the first all-brands national motorcycle magazine aimed at women. The print publication later became the very successful WomenRidersNow.com a leading source of motorcycling news, reviews and information for women.
