Crossroads at the Buffalo Chip™ Unveiled
You’ve wanted it for years and now it’s here, Crossroads at the Buffalo Chip™, the latest free access addition to the Chip experience will provide rally goers the perfect place to meet your friends, shop, enjoy food, drinks, music and be entertained without the need for campground admission.

The centerpiece of the Crossroads area will be an open-air pavilion, Crossroads Cafe, featuring elevated decks with spectacular views of the surrounding Black Hills and overlooking all the activity and people below. Crossroads is a free access area located out front of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s West “Welcome Home Bikers” gate.

Crossroads, with free access, free on-site parking, non-stop entertainment, full service bars, shopping and dining throughout the day, is where the rally begins and the Sturgis Buffalo Chip® is where it all ends up.

Sturgis Buffalo Chip® Family in Italy
The Sturgis Buffalo Chip invaded Italy at last week’s Motor Bike Expo, one of Europe's largest motorcycle events, in the historic city of Verona.

A huge hit with the crowd of over 125,000, The Sturgis Buffalo Chip® was there to see old friends and make new ones.

“It was great to see so many Chip-goers from across Europe as well as many Americans such as Russell Mitchell, Mondo Porras, and Kirk Taylor that also made the annual trip,” says Chris McGee from the Sturgis Buffalo Chip.

It’s nice to know that no matter where you go in world, you will find members of the Buffalo Chip family. We look forward to seeing all our friends this year for more good times at the Chip.

A Little Love From the Chip
February is here, and in case you haven’t been in any retail store lately, Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. In case you haven’t gotten your special someone anything yet, don’t panic, the Chip has what their heart desires.

Paving the Way – “Miss Cookie: Queen of the Daredevils”
Our preview of the “Paving the Way – The Women of the Motorcycle Hall of Fame” exhibit continues with 2009 Hall of Fame Inductee, Cookie Crum. The Sturgis Buffalo Chip® and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame are excited to bring Sturgis rally-goers another sneak peek into this unique exhibit.

Long before most women were considering riding their own, Cookie Crum was doing just that – and on the “Wall of Death” no less. Cookie was just 18 years old in 1949 when she was hired by a Motor Drome and became “Miss Cookie: Queen of the Daredevils.” Cookie spent 8 years riding the wall – during those years, she got married, had a baby girl, divorced and remarried.
