The Buffalo Chip always provides a wide variety of music, from rock n’ roll, to country, to blues. As the Buffalo Chip announces their exciting line up for the 2007 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, they are just as excited to announce returning acts.

 

The Charlie Brechtel Band returns and as always you are in for a special treat when you listen to this band. The soul of the American biker and the music of Charlie Brechtel are truly one and the same. Charlie has been an integral spoke in the rock wheel as a player, composer, arranger, songwriter & producer. He has worked w/ the late blues master John Lee Hooker, as well as Gregg Allman, B.B. King, Dr. John, Buddy Miles, Aaron Neville, Freddy Fender, Steppenwolf and so many others. Charlie takes his listeners into a world that was begun in America's post WWII years, screamed through the 50s and 60s and has evolved into one of the most powerful and envied sub-cultures that this country has ever produced. 

 

Ross & Rotten will be performing nightly at the Buffalo Chip. Ross & Rotten have been performing their edgy, and sometimes downright blue humor for the crowds at the Legendary Buffalo Chip in Sturgis for more than a decade.   Ross & Rotten have become a part of the Chip family and no party with the Chip's name on it would be complete without them.

 

What a treat it was for everyone that saw the Dan Lawson Band appear at the Chip last year. The blue’s run deep in the vein’s of Dan Lawson. Strap his”1956 Fender Stratocaster” on and Lawson deftly open’s those vein’s, letting his brand of high-energy Boogie Blues flow out with a fire and a passion! Dan and his band are incredible performers and produce some awesome original material, which is why Dan’s recent single has been on the Canadian charts for several months and Dan is signing with a major label record company.

 

The Burnt River Band started out like any other blues band playing neighborhood bars, being into Harley's as well as the blues, they developed a party hard, house rockin' style of boogie music. This band makes a point to come to the Buffalo Chip for the best party anywhere and they get the house rockin’.
