With a reignited flame in the world of music, legendary rocker Edgar Winter will perform Friday Aug. 5 at the Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground three days before the official start of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. He says he will bring the Sturgis bikers a whole new soundtrack inspired by the roots of real rock’n’roll.
Winter, who captured an era in rock history and redefined the possibilities of fusing blues with rock with his hits “Free Ride” and “Frankenstein,” has redefined the music world with a new album titled Rebel Road. The multi-talented singer brought in the likes of Clint Black, Slash, and his renowned brother Johnny Winter to collaborate on the 11-track blend of country, rock, and blues that will – as usual –electrify the bikers in attendance at The Buffalo Chip.
