STURGIS (7-13-2011) - Top motorcycle and music companies have joined forces to provide a Sturgis Rally-goer with a one-of-a-kind motorcycle and guitar for the Legendary Buffalo Chip's 30th anniversary. Klock Werks Kustom Cycle has customized a Victory Kingpin 8-ball bike and Epiphone Guitars has produced a distinctive Sturgis Buffalo Chip® guitar, both of which will go home with one lucky Chip attendee during this year’s Sturgis Rally.

Registration for the bike and guitar giveaway is free and can be found at www.buffalochip.com. Fans can also register at the rally at the Epiphone Guitar booth located in the Buffalo Chip amphitheater. Eight finalists will be selected, and all eight finalists will be on the Chip’s main stage Friday, August 12, where one lucky winner will be chosen to bring the bike and guitar home.

The Victory motorcycle on the giveaway block was customized expertly by Klock Werks Kustom Cycle. The owners of Klock Werks, Brain and Laura Klock, saw the potential for their daughters Erika and Karlee to design, build and fabricate a mini-bagger with help from parts sponsors Bassani Exhaust, Gearwrench, Interstate Batteries and Sportech. The finished motorcycle will encompass the Legendary Buffalo Chip’s annual celebration of music, motorcycles, freedom and camaraderie, and will showcase Klock Werks’ world-class customizations.

The Epiphone guitar matches the bike’s design and attitude. The Coronet-style guitar is custom designed with the Sturgis Buffalo Chip logo and recognition of the Chip’s 30th birthday – being 30 years strong. Epiphone is the official guitar of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip - the Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling – and will be a prized possession of even those without musical training.

The Legendary Buffalo Chip has been offering its guests a true Sturgis motorcycling experience for 30 years.  It’s going to be one rowdy, high-caliber good time with headliners like Alice Cooper, Pop Evil, Bachman & Turner, StyxDef Leppard, Toby Keith, Poison, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tesla, George Thorogood, Leon Russell, Stevie Nicks, John FogertyJeff Bridges and Friends.
