It has been 20 years since The Doobie Brothers came to the Buffalo Chip to help us celebrate the 50th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. They return on Saturday, Aug. 14 to help us celebrate the 70th.
Another important anniversary will be celebrated while the Doobies are here at the Chip. It was 20 years ago that Doobie Brothers guitarist met biker journalist Cristine Sommer at the Buffalo Chip during Sturgis Bike Week. Both avid motorcycle enthusiasts, Cris and Patrick have been riding together ever since.
“The Doobie Brothers will provide one of the most exciting shows we’ve ever had on the last night of the rally,” said Rod Woodruff. “I cannot think of a better band to top off a week of the Best Party Anywhere!”
