The Sturgis Buffalo Chip® announces that Grammy Award winning hard rockers Halestorm will join its nine day roster of summer music festival performers. Halestorm, the band who recently blasted to the top of the hard rock charts, joins the 2013 Sturgis concert lineup that already includes Kid Rock, Toby Keith, ZZ Top, Brantley Gilbert, Queensrÿche and Sublime with Rome. Halestorm, scheduled to open for the legendary band ZZ Top, will take the Buffalo Chip’s stage on Sunday, Aug. 4 during the 2013 Sturgis motorcycle rally. The hard rock edge that Halestorm brings engages fans to such proportions that it scored them an award for the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards where they performed the fan favorite “Love Bites (So Do I)”.
Expected to perform more hit songs such as “I Get Off” and “It’s Not You” during the 2013 Sturgis Buffalo Chip motorcycle, music and camping festival known as the Best Party Anywhere™, Halestorm is ready to connect with the audience, engage the fans and rock the house. Halestorm, having sharpened their teeth well by touring with well-known artists like Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold and Shinedown, is expected to provide the 2013 music festival audience an epic night of rock with ZZ Top.
