Exclusive Sneak Peek: New Sweet Cyanide Single

Buffalo Chip favorites and NYC hard rockers, Sweet Cyanide, follow up the success of their rock radio hit, “In My World,” with their aggressive and poisonously sweet new single, “Better at Goodbyes.” The track will be available on iTunes Jan. 28, but you can get an exclusive sneak peek NOW at www.buffalochip.com.

About Sweet Cyanide:
After three successful album releases, Sweet Cyanide returned to the recording studio in November 2013 to begin work on their forthcoming album, “For The Love Of…,” to be released in late Spring 2014 exclusively on vinyl and digital download.

Sweet Cyanide’s tour schedule has found them criss-crossing the country, playing at some of the nation’s best venues and biggest festivals alongside some of the world’s most popular acts. Over the past summers, the band performed on the main stage of the Legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s Motorcycle and Music Festival alongside Def Leppard, Buckcherry, Boston, Slash, Toby Keith, Alice in Chains and Shinedown.

The first single from the new record, “Better At Goodbyes,” is an aggressively hook-laden rocker, produced by lead vocalist, Sal Scoca, Ali J. Hassan (The Bouncing Souls, Alicia Keys, Sebastian Bach) and Ari Mihalopoulos (OTEP, Destrophy). The single features new drummer, Eric Leiderman, (Pearl feat. Scott Ian and The Young Royals), and it’s also the premiere of founding member and original bassist, Angelo Fariello’s, inspired transition to six-string gunslinger.

“For The Love Of…” displays the vast growth of a band that could have easily fallen into the trap of the one-hit wonder and often generic modern rock scene. Influenced greatly by the infusion of new blood and modern classic rock influences, Sweet Cyanide rocks harder than ever. Look for the new album soon and be sure to catch the band live on their 2014 Spring/Summer tour.
