Rupert Boneham, who was a contestant on Survivor: Pearl Islands, and Survivor: All-Stars, will be joining us at the Legendary Buffalo Chip, 2010. Before appearing on Survivor, Rupert worked as a gravedigger, bartender, and a mentor for troubled teens, which he is still a big part of today. During Survivor, Rupert quickly became one of the most popular contestants and is well known for his huge beard, tie-dye shirt and size. Rupert’s Sturgis experiences help him continue his work with inner city teens in the United States. Rupert is no stranger to riding the Black Hills and especially enjoys the time that he gets to spend meeting everyone at the Buffalo Chip. Be sure to say hi when you see him and you just might get a familiar Rupert Roar!
Rupert just completed the 2010 Survivor series Heroes vs. Villains and was given one million dollars on Survivor: America’s Tribal Council, which was a special episode of Survivor All-Stars. What is incredibly special is that Rupert used his winnings to start Rupert’s Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping troubled teens, especially those held up in the juvenile court system.
