Media Crew Internships
Photographers and videographers are welcome to apply for summer internships on the Buffalo Chip media crew. Qualified applicants should be organized and able to operate under deadline in a fast-paced production environment. Stage Video Camera Operator
The Stage Video Crew is need of a camera operator as part of our live concert video on the main stage at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. Candidates for this position should have experience in video camera operation and basics terms of movement. Job includes load-in and load-out of LED board video equipment. Typical hours during event are 6:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. each night. Interested applicants should email qualifications to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Assist in moving and placing equipment on the stage and adjusting sets as needed.
Install, move and dismantle onstage lifting and suspension equipment.
Showcase Stage Production Assistant
Assist in the promotion and execution of entertainment and events taking place on the Buffalo Chip’s Showcase Stages. Duties include but are not limited to communicating load-in/sound-check times with artists and sound engineers, transporting bands and their gear, providing entertainers with designated passes and fulfilling hospitality requests. Corporate Sponsor Set Team Members
Execute the set up and tear down of sponsorship department events and signage before, during, and after rally. You will work on location at the Legendary Buffalo Chip as part of a tightly-knit, hard-working and fun team and must work well – rain or shine – with a small group of people day in and day out. Greet thousands of guests as they enter the grounds for the vacation of a lifetime.
Direct traffic so guests can quickly and safely get where they need to go.
Help the Chip follow county ordinances by making sure no alcohol or weapons come through the gates.
Help keep the lines of communication open between staff spread across the 580-acre property.
Serve and protect Buffalo Chip models, dignitaries and celebrity guests.
Help the Chip uphold the law by keeping minors from purchasing alcohol on site.
Zip Line Crew
Send Buffalo Chip guests on the ride of their life from atop the seven-foot story high Zip the Chip zip line platform inside the amphitheater.
Welcome thousands happy, smiling guests through the gates.
East Gate Security
Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic at East Gates, checking credentials of guests, staff and band personnel to ensure they have the proper pass.
Protect bands like Eric Church and Kid Rock from fanatics trying to storm the stage.
Box Office Staff
Check in guests who have advance reservations and sell passes to those yet to reserve in air-conditioned comfort. Must be detail oriented and have computer skills.
